My both knees have nerve injury which occurs as pains and ofcourse they are weaker than what they could be. Sure I work on them hard which has made them really strong but not as strong as they would be with this fitness level if my knees were fine.

Definately other setback was at first over eating and now was eating too little. Why I never learn to stay at the middle? I can sure go over and under but nope middle is impossible emoticon

My Biggest Setback is my metabolism is to LOW!

I'm just learning about CALORIE & CARB CYCLING. I have been reading the information on the CALORIE CYCLING Team threads and looking at my food tracker over the past few months. I find it really hard to eat more than 1200 calories but I have been trying. I know that I need to reach and keep my calories above my BMR of 1440 to start with and exercise to raise my metabolism. That is what I'm working on first.

Hugs,
Charlie

My shoulder problems. Might be arthritis, might be carpel tunnel, I won't know till I can afford to get to the doctor and have it assessed. The pain got so bad I just gave up in late November and it's just starting to ease up a little now that Spring is starting to settle in. I'm finally getting ambitious enough to try to redesign my exercise program around what I actually CAN do.

Mine is the absolutely crazy cravings and binges the week before TOM. This has been a problem for me for years and I would love to be able to figure it out!

i had this problem to when I was with my ex, he just didn't understand pop and all those joe louis and cakes and cookies in the house were to much temptation for me (he use to buy it alllllllll the time for his lunches)

he use to say , "hey just cuz it's there doesn't mean u have to eat it......

I am lucky now my roomates both want a healthier lifestyle so they are more than willing to do without the temptations in the house.....and when we crave sweets I bake because then we tend not to ad all those preservatives

My biggest setback is when I don't see results ASAP....

Mind you to help me along I remember what Tommy said in Last 10 Pounds Bootcamp episodes.....it took you time to put it on and it will take time to take it off

The one good habit I have aquired however is when I feel sad about not seeing results.....I go workout either at the gym or if I am in need of "me" time I will play my MJ the Experience on Wii

Eating and winter :). It's very difficult to stay motivated everyday when it's so dark and cold when you go to work in the morning and when leaving work in the evenings. It's much easier to make a hot comfy meal... see this is why I need spark people :).

I finished a weight loss challenge and did great! And then I lost my focus. I've been playing with 5# for the last 3 months. I'm glad it's not more, but have been trying to get back on track. So, I signed up for a 5k run in August. I have a plan to run every other day to train. Day one is in. I just have to keep it up now emoticon

My emotional eating! I am slowly finding ways how to learn to make myself happy besides filling my mouth full of food.. Afterwards, I feel miserable, and I cannot figure out why I did it... I just know its a hard habbit to break, but I am bound and determined to master this bump in the road! emoticon

In April I under went the forth surgery on my face and in May was the fifth. I only did a couple of blogs about it but it was tough and I had to give up movement for 2 months. Because I was a little bored and probably ate a bit more than I should I have gained some of the weight back. But I am on track again and looking forward to being better mentally and physically. My blog today was on a power challenge that I think will keep me on a positive path for where I want to stay. 3 years ago when I had the first surgeries I gained 50 lbs So I am in a way better place this time emoticon

My biggest set back is that my depression and anxiety are controlling me instead of the other way around. I need to work on getting it back to the other way around to be able to live a more productive life. One step at a time. Baby steps. That is what it is going to take.

When I hurt my toe in March after doing a wild race in the mountains which it was way too hard to do any way. Snow and muddy but I wanted to try. So that put me out of exercise since it hurt so bad. Oh ya its July and im thinking some days it feels better and then bam it hurts again. So im going to just go slow and see what happens. No running im sure if ever. Darn i Was liking it so much and can stand other exercises.

Gaining weight back. One or two pounds is okay, but when I got sick last year, I got depressed and gained almost 30 lbs back. I snapped out of it but then was so mad at myself for letting myself go like that, but I know I will get there.

I have been so sick the last week that I have not been paying any attention to food or exercise. I literally didn't leave the house for 5 days. I am starting to feel a little better, so I'm looking forward to getting back on track.

Days like today - where I want to workout but my energy feels so low. It's like the will to push myself a little bit disappeared.

Glad I at least did something though.

Keep moving forward!

I have a few really big set backs this week. First I have a stress fracture in my foot that makes it difficult to do most things. But I try and do what I can and push through. The doctor said low impact things were okay. The next is that I am finding I am hungry all the time. I have been trying to push more fruits and veggies but that doesn't always fix the problem. I know as the weeks go on things will get better. It will just take time.

Being busy seems to be my biggest set back lately. When I'm out and about all day many days in a row, I don't get my exercise in and my food choices don't always end up being the best. I'm working hard on changing that this week. I need to make the time to keep up with my workouts.

My biggest set back right now is that I am very ill to say the least. It hasn't been all my fault but part of it is. So I have been trying to get back on track. On days like today when I just don't want to do anything I try to push myself to at least get a work out in and maybe jump up my endorphins.

I agree with HOTMOMA970... having the junk food around me all of the time. When I'm out somewhere it doesn't get to me, but when it is in the house, it think about it every time I walk past the pantry.
