I've had a pair for a while now, and like them for the comfort factor, but I don't think they did anything to really tone the areas promised. I've pretty much shelfed them for now until I can find a friend who wants them and bought a pair of Asics runners, and I absolutely LOVE them. To each his own, I guess.

I bought the reebok easytones about a year and a half ago and I love them. I have a hard time finding comfortable running shoes because of wide feet, so I was so happy to find these. When there's no snow on the ground I wear them as my everyday shoes and to work as a server. I find my feet are sore at the end of a shift, but I think I can attribute that to being on my feet for 9+ hours at a time. As daily shoes they're really comfortable. My mom bought the same ones and wore them to work (as a nurse) and hated them. There is a bit of soreness for the first week or so that you're wearing them, but I think it's because they adjust the way you stand and walk, and it works muscles you don't normally use. It's like going to the gym, when you work a new muscle you're going to be sore. They were originally advertised as working the same muscles as when you walk on sand, because your body needs to constantly adjust to keep you balanced. I don't notice much difference since I bought them, but my boyfriend swears my thighs and bum are more toned. For me they're just a comfortable pair of shoes, but if they work, even better! I've worn mine out, buying a new pair when I have the money.

I just bought Keds Toning shoes from Kohls a few days ago, and they are pretty nice. They have the same kind of balls on the bottom of the sole, and they seem to work pretty well. They are only about half the price of the Reeboks, and though they don't come in the amount of colors, they are quite nice, with some slip-on options as well.

I have the skechers and I love them! Don't know if they have helped with my butt and legs or not, but as soon as I tried them on I knew I was buying them because they took all the pressure off of my heals and they feel great! I wear them all day every day. They are very heavy and at first I could only wear them for a hour or two and had to take them off because my legs hurt, so I am sure they do some good for your legs and I notice when I walk long distances, my legs hurt, but that just could be the walk. LOL Like I said, I love mine and will buy another pair when these bite the dust!

Mine were just delivered yesterday, and I wore them golfing yesterday afternoon, and then to workout after I got home. They are really comfortable, and you very quickly adjust to the feeling of walking on little pillows. I'm wearing them to work today too. I'll let you know if I feel ly legs working harder after about a week. Have a great weekend everyone!
I bought a pair a year ago. There are a lot of shoes out there that are now designed to give you a better work out. These shoes look cute, and they do add a little to your walk. Are they really worth the cost? I don't really think so, not if you're working out and strength training regularly. You also need to walk in them regularly to see some improvement. Don't get me wrong, I love mine, and if I had to buy them again, I would.

I bought a pair in March 2010. I have been wearing them regularly since that time and have noticed very slight improvement in my thighs. I have noticed more of an improvement in my outer hip/outer buttock area.
They really work on the smaller / stablizing muscles of your thighs. I noticed this one day when I tried to stand perfectly still on them and felt a little wobble in my body because the shoe doesn't plant flat... you are raised onto rounded air pillows which makes the muscles work harder to maintain balance.
