Focusing on portion control eating healthy and being active . Is the key to a healthy life style. emoticon I don't believe in fat burners they are nothing but a waste of money and they are not good for your body.

Hi there i am so glad that i joined here at SP i am liking it a lot. I only been here on this site for a week now and so much good advice and info.I am planning to buy the book from Jillian Michael Master your Metabolism.I like her an i find her very inspirational.

I, too, have tried fat burner, fat trappers, yadda yadda yadda...........LOL
They are all gimmicks! Save your money and buy fitness equipment you will use! Way better than throwing it away on that junk. Eating clean and healthy, and getting good exercise is all you need! Follow your program, lean on your sparkfriends and other friends and forget the junk!
I have been reading Master Your Metabolism by Jillian Michaels and am really trying to get my hormones back in order to work for me instead of against me! It's a great book, you should check it out and it is available on Kindle!
Another good way to spend your money would be on a fabulous book: Die Fat or Get Tough by Steve Siebold! Also available on Kindle!

Check this out. It is a great article about most of commercially available diet pills. I've used most of them, I think. Nothing worked. Some of them made me feel very bad. Now I know that there is no 'magical pill' that will make you slim. It's hard work. Exercising and eating the right stuff. It works in my case.

They will never work, scientifically also. They only do harm.

I used ephedrine for a bit. It made me sick, but I had a ton of energy to work out. I wasn't doing anything healthy at the time, but I was thin.

Now I feel much better, eating right and not compulsively exercising. :)

there isn't a magic pill or food that will take your weight off. It came on because you weren't careful about what you ate and how much. Only by measuring weighing drinking your water and exercise will the weight come off.

I haven't tried fat burners, but have tried gimmicks of all kinds and they typically don't work. I have found that regular exercise, eating the right foods and in the right amounts and drinking plenty of water is the best!

The only one I ever took that worked was ephedrine, but I got addicted to it and it screwed up my metabolism. Now I take nothing. Every friend I have that goes on aids to lose weight that gloats to me about it always ends up gaining the weight back - and then some - when they stop, but I'm nice enough not to say I told you so ;-)

I tried xenadrin a few years ago and it made me so shake so I had to stop taking it. I did not notice (nor did the scale) any weight loss while I was taking it though.

What ever does not kill me will make me stronger.

back in my "youth" I tried many different aides and still here I am trying to loose weight. I am all for the complete overhaul of my life. More exercise, better food choices. They will have longer lasting effects on my life. The diet aids will work while on them, but when you go off them the weight comes back on. Or at least it did for me.

Saw an ad on here yesterday that got me to thinking. Big mistake on my part, now I can't stop wondering. lol
Fat Burners, do any of you take them? If so what kind and how much?
Now I know I need to eat right, exercise, drink water etc.
Just got me to wondering if they work? Darn ad's lol
