I was sidelined with surgery 2 weeks ago and could not exercise as normal. I thought, ok it will be nice to have a rest and more time to do other things. I found out that I MISSED it so much and was really happy to get back to it today even in a lower level to start!! It is amazing how you make something so much of your life that when you don't have it you miss it. Some may not believe that exercise can be missed but when you change your way of thinking and your life with the principles of Sparkpeople then YES YOU DO! I was able to maintain my weight without exercise and my husband said that that says alot about my new and improved thinking and way of treating myself. Now I should see the weight loss start again from where I am now to where I want to be since exercise is back in the routine of life. This is exciting to me and encourages me for better things to come. Definitely an Ah Ha moment.

This is true that you can become your own and others inspiration. I started on Sparks a year ago and began losing. By Labor day my husband entered into sparks and has been losing. This makes others ask us how and as we share we hope that others will begin to realize what they really want and achieve it.

That is so true!! My husband has been watching me go to the gym, take classes, and walk. Now he has joined in and has lost about 40 lbs. So it is true, we can become our own inspiration!!

That is so true. I've down 55 pounds, in the past 11 months, still got a ways to go, but I've had so many of my friends comment and want to do what I've done, that we started our own group here on Spark.

It's certainly helpped me stay on track. Didn't loose but less then a pound last week, but I did loose some inches.
