I have Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 and 30 day Shred....they are short but deadly, they get you sweating and you see results early on!!

Allioop106 i'm with you i love richard simmons, first of all the fact that they have all size people working out with me and he is cheesy but motivational. i love that he cares that he has been through the same struggles and is willing to give of himself. I love to dance so i love working out to his sweatin dvd. I normally go to a class that does kickboxing and dancing it is soo much fun... i never know it is exercise it just is an hour that i go and have fun i love i can say that!

I like turbo jam, it's very high energy and makes me feel really good after, and not like I want a nap. I am sore the next day but I can still move. power 90 sounds really interesting though.

I would like to change my mind and say that I am not a HUGE fan of the Max Interval Plyo workout from Insanity! That workout is absolute BANANAS! I'm kind of sad though...I'm almost done with Insanity...

I would have to say the Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs workout DVD from Insanity...however, I am sure that will change here pretty soon...

i LOVE LOVE LOVE Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Shred... but i hate it at the same time haha it really challenges me! It's only a 20 minute workout though and you definitely feel and see the results! (It's about 25-28 minutes total with warm-up and stretching afterward.)

I have found that I am currently really into the Crunch: Fat Burning Ab Attack. It gives a good workout in about 30 mins, and I feel it the next day in my legs and abs.

I have a ton of video workouts on my computer (no DVDs, strangely enough). I have done P90x, Insanity and have some Jackie Warner vids on there too. Currently, my friend has been doing Jillian Michaels' 6 Weeks video and she sees results so I started that like last week and it's not too bad! The woman is CRAZY but it's not too bad...lol.

I like a variety of DVD's for fitness. It really depends on how much time I have and my mood.
I have noticed though that Gold's Gym tends to have the best ones.
You know sometimes you buy a fitness DVD based on the cover or description on the back?
Then you get it home and it is horrible....
Well, I have no affiliation with Gold's Gym, but have noticed that they do produce good exercise DVDs.

I love Richard Simmons DVD's... Some exercise diva's laugh when I say this - but if you are over 200 pounds (like I am) they fill the need. You dance, have fun, work up a sweat, and it is easy on the knees. I recently got Sweating to the Oldies 5. I loved it.
ALSO .. Debra Mazda - shapely girl - Let's Get Stepping! Beginner step-cardio. These are thick women - doing a step class! I love it! It gives me hope.

Like so many others I am truly a Jillian Michaels fan. The more I see her work and read her books the more I am able to relate and use her advice for my benefit.

My fav DVD is definitely Burn Fat, Boost Metabolism. My second fav is 30Day Shred. Try them both, I think you'll like the results best of all.

Much Success!!! emoticon

I can't pick just one but I really like Julianne Hough's DVD from DWTS. I now kinda know how to do the jitterbug, JIVE and Paso Dablo (sp?) I'm ready for the show - NOT. Haha, but I can do it.

I also love one called The Bar Method (supposedly it's one of the methods Kelly Osborne used to really get fit).

I also love the two DVD's I got from Amazon led by Violet Zaki - she is phenomenal.

I have Jillian Phillips from Biggest Loser, but she's honestly not "my" favorite one.

My daughter made me purchase this ballet conditionning dvd. Holy cow... I never thought it would be so difficult! I was a bit reluctant because it's not so much cardio as it is strentgh training and really works your flexibility too! Well I loved it and yes, I still broke into a sweat, worked and stretched every little muscle in my legs and arms! A great workout, for me anyways!

I really like The Bollywood Workout. It's very fun, and has great music. It has a floor section for working your core, a footwork section, and one section is even called playtime.

I also like the zumba workouts. The company that puts out the Bollywood workout also has others. I think there are four Bollywood ones, and then some salsa ones, and another kind that I can't remember. I think they also have a kickboxing one.

Found 10 Minute Kettlebell Solutions on collagevideo.com - used it this AM for a fat burning 10 minute workout - I was panting at the end of the 10 minutes!

I got a really good video from Netflix for a kettlebell work-out. It's Angie Millers Kettlebell workout. Not sure if that's the title but it'd be easy to find. It's a good workout, there are alot of good videos on netflix, nice to try before you buy!!

I too have the Walk at Home DVD's, Wii Fit Plus, Turbo Jam, Winsor Pilates, My Fitness Coach (Wii) and The Firm's, TransFIRMer series. I like to mix things up too so that I don't get bored. Has anyone tried "The Wave"? I am seriously thinking of purchasing this one too, but would like to hear from someone that has actually used it. Thanks!

Yes, I've worked with a kettlebell and it's an excellent workout. Just make very sure you're doing it properly. Gin Miller has a very good DVD out - her instructions are very good. Check collagevideo.com - lot of good DVD's there.

Cheers

Harriet

I love "The Firm" DVD's. I purchase the DVD's at Target and/or Wal-mart and have found all them really useful. I also love "10 Minute Solution Kickboxing", which gives me five 10 minute exercises that I can mix and match to squeeze in my extra evening workout. emoticon

I was given the Leslie Sansone's Walk the Walk DVD for Christmas! DD and I both like it and use it almost every day.

We have had some warm days where we get out and really walk 2 miles too!!

I also really like Mia Finnegan's, a former Olympian gymnast, mini trampoline workout DVD too.

I too, really like Leslie Sansone's walk at home DVDs! They are great for beginners to advanced, easy to follow and she gives lots of motivation.

Jillian Michael's 30 day shred is tough when you start, but you see your fitness level change if you do it religiously.

Right now, my favorites are the new Leslie Sansone Super Walks with Booster Cable. The cables bring a new dimension to workout. I usually use weights, but the cables change things up. I'm always trying new exercise DVDs so I won't get bored. That being said, next week I might have a new favorite.

I love my Biggest Loser DVDs, especially the Biggest Loser Workout 2. Bob's Bootcamp is fantastic. My favorite part is right when you are thinking about quitting because he's working your tail off, he gets right into the screen and says something like, "I know you're hurting, but you're going to keep going because you want to be healthy!" I heart Bob.

I also love my Wii Fit Plus and Biggest Loser Wii games. Perfect if I don't want to go out in the frozen temps.

This one is an oldie but a real jewel. I really like the Claudia Shiffer vcr tapes. She has Perfectly Fit Arms, buns, legs and abs. The actual cinematography is amazing - set in Prague and St Barts and the music is just right. I pulled that out of my closet the other day and did the arms tape and two days later with only 3lb weights my arms are still sore. The only thing with those tapes is that they are so long and do not give a complete overall body workout. Otherwise I use the 30 Day Shredd when I am in a hurry.

I have a self dance dvd I did this morning , and I really
found out how out of shape I was , but I did it.
I am thinking that it is a good way to exercise especially this time of year when weather keeps one from walking. Anyone have any good DVD titles they would like to share as I am going to purchase another one soon. emoticon
