Up to almost a mile a day, and down 19lbs since Jan 2nd! WooHoo! I realize this loss won't keep up and you always lose a lot in the beginning, but I am enjoying the decrease all the same and won't freak out when it slows down.

Proud I did not scream at the vampire today who drew my blood and blew and vein and hurt me, and finally did find a vein, he dodged it alright.

I'm proud I did a water exercise class that was tuff for 55 minutes and swam for another 35 minutes for a total of 90 minutes, this is the 4th day this week for this workout sked.
Although I'm not feeling well (I lifted weights carelessly last night and pulled something in my upper back/shoulder area) I still worked a full day and walked 3 miles on my lunch break.
I will be where I want to be one day, but I'm the only one who can make it happen!
My life is a work in progress and eventually I will master the skill!

I'm proud of swimming 85 minutes today, and I feel great now!
Kept my cool and professionalism today with several difficult patients. Simply smiled and breathed out my inclinations to say things I did not want to say. Was very proud of myself at the end of my work day for staying in control of more than what is visible to the naked eye!

In addition to the treadmill I did 20 mins on the elliptical--hate that thing! But I did it! I started at 5 mins only 3 weeks ago and added 5 min increments. My goal was to do 20 mins daily--so today I met goal. Not out of the woods yet--gotta develop a streak before I can toot my horn.

I am proud of the fact that I could have slacked off today because of working for 48 hrs straight without any rest. INSTEAD of heading straight for bed I went for a horseback ride first then rested after that. The rest of my workout came after a much needed rest for this old body! :)

What am I proud of today? The fact that I got out of bed at 5.30am to work out with the Paminator. Haven't had the chance to connect with her in over a year, so it was good to see her but I feel every muscle in my body except my toes at this point. Can't wait for tomorrow... Wow 5k in 25 min.... and I was proud of my 3 miles in 33 min. Keep up the good work and the goal setting. Let me know when you hit your goal. I have accepted your post as a personal challenge to push myself to do the same (5k in 25). I will need until the last week in May. I am currently only able to run about 3 miles. For doing my P90X shoulders & arms + ab ripper X workout today... luckily I do these right after with a friend of mine or I wouldn't be doing so well. I need to get my priorities straight and make working out a primary... if we are not around nothing else matters...
dropped 8.2 lbs over the last 2 weeks and feeling good about it but a bit disappointed I expected with the change to my eating habits and doing p90x which is whipping my butt by the way.... I would have lost at least 10 and maybe a few more... On the bright side that is almost two bags of sugar gone! .... Tom
