Hi everyone. Just wondered how many of you use ww on line. I started yesterday and am having a hard time typing in the foods I eat. Seems I have to hit the keys more than once to make them imprint a letter. I adjusted my cookies. So don't know what the problem is. This happened to me before when I joined and it is so frustrating and time consuming. Anyone else have this problem.

hi gang...it has been about 3.5 weeks since i changed my lifestyle by using my food tracker and logging my exercise. i have to admit that i am doing really well.l i think i lost something like 8lbs in that time frame. my short time goal is to lose 15lbs by march, which is my b-day. my reward will be a new hair color and style. looking forward to that. anyway...just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone...with hard work you can do this!

Hey Stephanie, good luck on your WI today. Mine was yesterday and I had a small gain (0.4 lbs) but next week will be better!

I think South Carolina forgot about winter too. They say we will have mid 70's all week.

Good morning everyone. It is 68 degrees here and that is cooler than it has been. I think winter has missed Florida. I am not doing too well on my tracking. I managed to maintain for my second week in a row. At least I am not gaining. Today is my weigh day and my points begin again. Hopefully I can get back to my tracking. I still haven't got the exercise going. One step at a time.

hi gang...woke up to a foggy day...kinda nice but makes me think of the werewolf coming to get me....running across the field....spooky.
still going strong, doing my exercises, watching my portion sizes and no snacks in between meals. i did eat an ounce of mixed nuts yesterday before i went to bed, was a tad hungry. before i would think of food all day, now, i post what i plan to eat on the tracker, and i dont think to much about food. and i still have not had any sweets, except for the occasional cup of tea with 1 tsp sugar, no added sugar to anything. i am not watching sugar in foods...i am trying to withdraw from the sugary stuff. overall, i am giving myself high marks for hanging in there and doing all the things i need to do to change my lifestyle.
enough of shadow's ramblings...need to hit the exercise room. chat later.

hi gang...i loss some weight, almost 1 lb this week. happy that i lost something, but it is how i feel that makes me see the difference. now i can come down steps without holding the bannister, i can reach my toes....and my stamina is really improving. that is encouraging. i know the weight will come off, maybe not as fast as i want, but the little improvements i see encourage me to continue.

hi gang....dancequeen, it happens, dont give up.
.yesterday was challenging for me. woke up tired, had a client, then did the laundry. i still didnt exercise and it was well after noon. i was suppose to walk with my dil but it started raining...i weighed myself that morning and did not lose one pound. with everything i did the past week, staying withing calorie range, measuring food, exercising 30 minutes or more....i was disappointed....and i made the excuse i was tired not to exercise. well, i promised myself if i could do 15 minutes of bike riding, the easiest exercise i do in a day....well i did 30...and i felt so much better. i think we have to not let the little things get in the way of messing up your new routine.....i am trying, i am really trying.

I had some friends join WW yesterday, it will be nice to have them so we can encourage each other.

Stephanie if you are following the points the weight will come off even if it didn't show this week. I have had weeks that look like I gained a small amount only to have a large loss the next week. emoticon emoticon

Hello everyone. My first week and I maintained but didn't lose anything. I did stay within my points values and I did not over eat on fruit or free vegetables. Being diabetic I can only eat one serving of fruit at a meal or snack. I know I am on medications that fight me losing weight. I am determined to stick with it and try and tweak my food choices to start losing. Have a great day everyone.

hi gang...as i promised, i am back posting. glad to see your back sandy..
i think it is important to keep in touch with all the groups i am in, what is the sense if you dont talk to each other...right? today i reached a new high...i exercised for 40 minutes and this is big coming from a couch potato. i am determined to lose this weight...just think if you look disfigured and bloated what does the inside of your body look like...organs all swished with fat all around. time to take care of the body and myself.

Hello everyone from your wayward leader!

I went away for Christmas - left on the 21st December and came back New Year's eve and have had visitors since - my youngest daughter and my eldest daughter and her husband and 2 children. It has been wonderful to have them, but not a lot of time for SP.

I came back .1 heavier at my WI last Thursday, but had put on the previous 2 WI's.

I am back on track and have been following filling and healthy. My WI is Thursday, so we shall see what happens there.

I see you have been chatting in my absence, which is great.

i track using the 3 month tracker that you buy at WW -- it's easier for me to carry it around in my purse. I find points and points plus easy to track but just weird. WW came up with the points and points plus idea because so many people did not want to track calories/carbs/fat.

My first week on WW left me 3.8 pounds emoticon emoticon . It is so much easier to track on WW than it is on SP plus only tracking points is so much easier tracking all the nutrition on SP . I use smart one meals for my lunches at work since the meals at my restaurant (which I get free) are low on calories but with the points they are high and we have some healthy meals. I do like our turkey chili that is only 4pts so that is not to bad. I am however happy to see weight loss and not feeling so hungry which when I do feel hungry I am going for fruits more since they are 0 pts

hi gang...well my week was a good one, and i am shooting for another good one next week. focused on the amount of food i eat, limiting the sugar, with no added sugar to my food, just what is there naturally, drinking my water and doing my exercise every day for 30 minutes. hope to see a pound gone next weekend.
wonder if my body will get use to this and i have to do more exercise or limit my calories more..... anybody know?
i guess i will worry about that when the time comes and i stop losing.
need to run, got to get dresses and thrift store shop, then food shop. have a blessed saturday.

I am so happy to get back on plan after a week of over eating. I actually felt sick from eating the wrong foods during the Christmas rush.

I had an appointment with my cardiologist this morning and he congratulated me on my weight loss to date. It made me feel good because I usually hear what do you plan to do to get weight off.

I downloaded the WW app on my IPad to track my PP. It has helped me keep up with how I'm doing.

hi gang...great ideas to kick start your weight loss. i am being more conscious of what i am eating...and for the past week have no snacks, and little sugar. i am trying to eliminate sugary things on a daily basis...just for occasional treats.
i lost 5lbs this week...i just started last thursday. very pleased with that amount. i know that it wont be 5lbs each week, but what a good start.

I started WW plan today although my weigh in was yesterday. I have done WW before and been successful. Usually I get tired of counting points or calories and go off. But I downloaded the ap on my IPAD. So I am ready to start reaching my goals for the new year. Happy New Year all.

Today begins a New Plan for following the program, with Daily Tracking, exercise plans,
portion control, removing any foods, that are not in my plan (high calorie) etc.

hi gang....well we are into the new year, what are you trying to change? for me i am changing the environment i eat in. i always use to eat watching tv either in my parlor or family room. now i am sitting at the kitchen table in silence eating my meals. i can concentrate on when i feel full, and the other day i actually left some food on the dish....i also am making an effort to do some form of exercise each day. so far i have been able to string together 7 days in a row.. emoticon .....i am so proud that i am accomplishing something.

hi gang...happy new year. i did a whole year of yo-yoing. 2012, i lost nothing....i gained, i lost. it was a vicious cycle. this year, my goal is to be consistent. i am tired of looking old, fat and really tired of being tired. so time for a change, besides that i really want to take care of my body....so, a little pain makes some gain. looking forward to a bright 2013 emoticon

I've had the same problem, too many parties and I kept using the 49 weekly and gained and then lost it, then gained again and lost it again. Feel like a yo-yo and after tomorrow, last party for my grandson turning 2 (on the 4th, but we decided since everyone was off to have the party tomorrow. Hopefully then, Wed.-Monday morning I will be back on track. I will try to go to the Monday morning meeting. We can do it. We are worth it. emoticon emoticon emoticon Happy New year everyone. Let's try to be stronger in 2013 with our choices and more determined.(-: emoticon

I have had a ruff couple of weeks. My meetings have been canceled at WW due to the holidays. All the extra parties didn't help either. I kept tracking my food and stayed within the allowed PP using the weekly allowance but it was to much for my body because my scales are showing a gain. So beginning to today I am cutting back and not using the extra PP allowance.

hi gang..as i promised i am back. thanks dancequeen...trying hard to commit to things. i must admit that i am doing very well in my diet change. i have to admit reading the book " the life you want" by bob greene made a HUGE difference in my life. i highly recommend this book if you are lacking motivation. it has me motivating myself to eat right and exercise. strung together almost a week of good eating and exercise.....this is rather huge for me.
well gang, enough of my ramblings...need to start my day. have a blessed sunday.

Hi everyone. Hope all had a Merry Christmas. I had a wonderful Christmas eve and day also.
Lots of good fun, good food, great laughter and memories to be cherished. All that planning and it is over so fast. I do have a party here on Friday, a wedding to go to on Saturday and then Sunday Christmas concert and NY eve, another gathering. So, not out of the woods yet with food festivities. Hello all. So sorry I have been missing on the posts and SP in general.

I have been away a couple of times, been diagnosed with sleep apnea and now have a CPAP machine. I also have had injections in my spine last Friday - having been back to the back specialist. So far so good, so hoping I can be around a bit more.

Good morning everyone. Did a 45 minute dvd, with,Leslie Sansone today. Yesterday I was at the Y for my class, 60 minutes and then spent 20 min. on treadmill and 10 minutes on the bike while I was there. Keep up the momentum all!

Saturdays and Sundays I do a small walk since I have less time and more work to do at home. I think doing housework can burn calories too though. So, that does count for something. Take care all and be safe. Nor'Easter is starting to cause lots of problems for so many. My heart goes out to all effected. emoticon

Hi all. In Sydney, off to see Miss 4 at swimming lessons in a few minutes. Off up to the central coast to my mum's house til Saturday, then back here to see Miss 4 at her ballet recital, home to Wagga Wagga on Sunday. Not sure how much Internet I will have on the coast. We can do this. Last night at my meeting, she talked about the Power Foods and how it can help us lose.She mentioned trying to get in at least ONE filling food for each meal this week. So something to think about and try. Have a wonderful day everyone.
