I know that a lot of people are really excited about this, but I think it is a Florida or East Coast thing. As an ex-Californian, I had never heard of the Little Orange Bird before - but everyone's enthisiasm is infectious.
It may make me a goober, but this is the most excited I've been over some Disney news in a while. Over in Adventureland, hidden behind the exit to Tiki Birds is the Sunshine Tree Terrace. It was a small snack counter where you could buy orange drink in this cool little orange ball looking container. I remember it as a little kid, from my very first trips to Disney. It's been shut down forever. But today at a small ceremony (attended by only the geekiest of Disney geeks) the place reopened!! Here is a link to an article about it. disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2012/ 04 /breaking-historic-orange-bird-returR>ns-to-adventureland-at-magic-kingdom-park/ Long live the orange bird!!
