I had my first A1C test since I was diagnosed. I went from 7.4 to 5.5 in three and a half months with diet changes (no pasta, potatos, rice and very little bread) and a supplement called Level Right. I have also lost 20 pounds which I didn't think was possible with thyroid issues that I have. I have been riding a bicycle for 5 miles at a time, most days. I am walking more and trying to be active as much as possible during the day time. I will see my endocrinologist Thursday of this week and will see where my thyroid function is, and what her plans for my metabolism are. I want to keep losing weight and maintain my A1C!
