The scale is not the only way to measure our progress. If your jeans are fitting better, then you are doing the right thing. Bump up your exercise and drink your water, too. I am a slow loser, too, but the SP process has been very good for my BG.

Diagnosed about 3 weeks ago. My numbers were on the low side, so I told my doc that I do not want to start on meds. Will go back again in 4 months and see if diet and exercise will get numbers to a point where I will not need meds. So, I have been staying in my range for foods, but, I must admit, not exercising enough. I get on the scale a few times a week, and have lost maybe a pound - in 3 weeks!! My jeans fit a bit better, but the scale stays the same. I just don't get it. Is there some reason why a person with diabetes would not be able to lose weight?
