My daughter recently moved into the dorms at college and the building she is in has an interesting rule. To minimize the demand for the elevator, they request that you take the stairs down and the elevator up. My daughter lives on the 7th floor so that's a lot of stairs, but she does it and enjoys it.
It got me thinking, that's not a bad way to exercise. I work on the 6th floor of my building, I could take the stairs down too. So starting today, part of my exercise plan will be to take the stairs down.
