Bless your heart! I just went through a week like that myself and I know it is so frustrating. The things that I can tell you if it is stress, the numbers will get better. Make sure you eat the best and cleanest you possibly can without going off the diet. Exercising more can help both with your stress levels and your BS readings. I think it would also be a great thing if we could all work something in our lives that helps us relax more, such as yoga, stretching, or meditation, even reading a good book. I understand how busy you have been with your bookkeeping. My time was spent studying and worrying about upcoming tests. I am under a lot of strain because nursing school acceptance is tight. There are way more people applying than get accepted. A's are just about a must and Chemistry is tough for me. But even if we could take 10-15 minutes a day, just relaxing in calming thought, reading a relaxing book, anything that puts you in the calm zone. That could be enough to help with your numbers. Try closing your eyes during a time you feel the stress, just for a few minutes and see yourself in a calming space. My places are near a waterfall out in the wilderness. No one or nothing there to stress me out. Another favorite is a lone cabin in the woods that when I enter, time stands still. There are no deadlines, no time pressures, just me in a timeless mode with no worries. Give these a shot and see if that helps at all. Anyone else who has any ideas, jump right in! my sugars are way to high this past week and a half. might have something to do with my stress level( I just finished doing our bookkeeing taxes). but my readings are in 8.1 to 9.5 range and today and last night were way too high 11.5 last night and 15.3 this morning.I've got until june 20 to get them under control or they will tweak my meds.. uhgg.. this past week sucked!! MM
