One thing NOT to try: Great Value sugar-free pancake syrup (Walmart brand). I bought it because it was less expensive and it tastes awful. Try Maple Grove Farms Sugar Free Syrup. It's really good.

I use the Parkay on veggies, toast, baked potato, etc. It is fat free and has ZERO calories and zero carbs. It says that 5 sprays is a serving for a topping, which makes a good amount on a serving of veggies, etc. It does have a trace amount of sodium per serving, if you are watching that. It really isn't bad at all.

Nana, Thanks for sharing that info with us, especially the link part! I was wondering how you do that myself. I'll try the Molly McButter. What do you use the spray Parkay on? Do you use it mostly on veggies and things? How many calories does it jave per spray? That might be a great way to save on calories if you like the taste of butter on some foods. Great suggestion.

I use Molly McButter. It is in the isle of the grocery store with the spices, as it is a "shakable" type. I also use the spray version of Parkay. It isn't bad at all.

Theresa - to make a link to a web site: When you are typing in a 'reply', up at the top of the box there are three buttons "Spell Check", "Add a Link" and "Add an Emoticon" Click the button "Add a Link" and it will bring up a new box at the top of the section. Type in the link you want to refer to, then click the "Add" button. That's all there is to it. If you can't get it to work, let me know.

Have a GREAT day ladies.

I don't know how to make them clickable. I'll look into that.

Does anyone know what the best tasting butter substitute is? I'm talking about the shaking butter flavorings like Butter Buds, etc. I used them a long time ago, but I'd like to know which one is best before I go buy it. I forget wht I used.

Does anyone know what is the best peanut butter for diabetics? I've heard you should look for a natural style PB but even those at my grocery store have sugar. What do you use. I am still using Jif at the moment, but sparingly.

Sorry, I knew you lived outside the states, but I think I confused where you lived with another person on a different board. Sometimes I use Splenda, but no matter what I use it's not the same as using sugar which isn't a good choice for us now. Guess I use Swwet and Low most.

Me either. I use mayo on a regular basis, not everyday. I was using a light mayo yesterday and just didn't like the taste compared to regular. Is there anything that you'd like to know a good sustitute for the regular version?

Good question! I am a Southern girl, born and bred, so the only mayo I like is Duke's. It is NOT low fat, or low anything. My saving grace is. . .I do not eat very much mayo at all - but my hubby puts it on everything. He something eats mayo sandwiches! Double YUCK! So I guess I didn't really answer your question. I haven't ever found a "lite" mayo that I could eat.

This isn't really a game but more for good food info. The one thing that will help keep us on track is making better choices. This helps if we find something that is healthy as well as tasty. Sometimes the things we buy are not that good. This is to help us find the tasty alternatives for things we may use a lot. WHat you do is try to answer one of the previous entries of which product in that category that you find a tasty alternative for your diet. You can answer at least one in your entry and ask one in return. Example: Someone asks what is a good margarine to use. Another would answer something like "I can't believe It's Not Butter Light" and then ask "What's the best sweetener?"

Starting this off, I would like to know what is a good brand of light mayonnaise? I can't seem to find one I like.
