Glad that I found this team. I'm just now trying to figure out what I'm allergic to. Apparently I have a rather serious form of Oral Allergy Syndrome that has caused gastritis and throwing up blood, etc. I'm better right now but figuring out what the triggers are is just really difficult.

I will not wait to have a good day. I will make one.
Welcome. Thanks for deciding to lead the team! Wow, I couldn't imagine having 47 food allergies! I think you will definitely be a help to the team. Some of us get frustrated just with one or two food allergies!
I am Amanda & my food allergy is dairy. I try my best not to avoid dairy, but sometimes I push my limits. Sometimes I pay for it and sometimes, I don't. Along with trying to learn how to deal with limiting dairy, I am also learning how to mange two Endocrine issues. One is Hypothyroidism so I can use any advice I can get. If you have any advice about a dairy allergy, please do share. :)
Hi everyone! I joined SparkPeople late February this year as I finally came out of denial about my wheat sensitivity/allergy. I have not been officially diagnosed - but these last 12 weeks nearly wheat free has made such a difference! I'm an online educator (tradeschool/college) and mom to a toddler girl who already shows allergies to nuts, shellfish and strawberries.
I'm hoping team support will help me learn more about managing food sensitivities while eating tasty nutritious food. Best, - Heather

Hello Team, I'm new to Spark and I really am enjoying reading all the posts on the boards. I need to finish setting my home page. I am so glad to take part in this forum especially as I have Celiac Disease.
I am happy to chat, encourage and share with everyone. I am hoping to lose 45 lbs by mid-September (for my step-son's wedding).
All the best to everyone!

Hi I am Jo Ann, I am a married empty nester with a gluten allergy. It's good to see I am not alone. I am new to this too, so if anyone has any suggestions that would help I sure would appreciate them. I have been gluten free for nearly two years now. Not easy by any means. I missed rolls and cake more than you can imagine!! But I have learned to make do. So answer up anyone with the same and I'll swap recipes that I have come across that are not too bad. Some are really bad, I think that they think your taste buds left with the allergy.
Have a blessed and glorious day!! With God's help all things are possible. Jo Ann

So let me introduce myself. I am Dotchi, ahomeschool mom of 2 boys. They are 16 and "almost 13". I have 47 food allergies, gluten intolerance and lactose intolerance. My oldest son has 32 food allergies and my youngest has 26 food allergies.
I hope I can make a difference on here, be helpful, answer questions, etc. Since I am new to this, could everyone introduce yourselves?
