Eight O'Clock bean was my safe coffee until I moved. I can't find it here. Now I go with millstone brand. Not the already ground and bagged but the kind you pour the whole bean into the bag and take it to the grinding machine. There is usually a grinder for plain coffee and one for flavors. The only problem is, not everyone follows those "please be kind..." notes on the machines so I had to invest in a coffee grinder for at home. Your best bet is to go with plain coffee, no flavors. Get a small amount to try so if you react you can toss it without feeling guilty. I found that the millstone breakfast blend is the kindest to me. It's all I buy anymore.

That's MISERABLE... I couldn't live without my JAVA!!! I'm also surprised about cross contamination. I used to work at a coffee roasters, and no nuts were used around or with any stage of the roasting process. I would avoid in flavored coffees of course... the flavoring is added after the roasting process. These MAY contain some kind of nut oil or natural flavoring. I use Starbucks, Peets (my FAVORITE), and the Sam's Club store brand with out any problems. Good luck to you!!!
