This past week I did myself in by buying a yearly treat for myself. I bought not one, but 2 BIG bags of the candy coated chocolate malted milk balls shaped like eggs. It's something you only see at Easter time and last year I didn't buy any at all. I really shouldn't have this year either as over the last 7 days I've eaten almost 3.5 lbs of the candy. The 2 bags total 4.5 lbs and I might have 1 lb left. If it's more than that I'd be surprised. I get started on them and eat til I literly make myself sick from the sugar. I've put the rest up in a cabinet out of sight but I may end up throwing them out so I won't be tempted to finish them off. As long as they're in the house, I know they'll be calling my name. I never should have bought them but I did it during a weak moment. Normally I don't buy candy as I have severe hot flashes and night sweats from eating sugar. So you can imagine how I've been feeling this past week. Anyway, I won't be buying them again and I will probably end up throwing the rest away so they aren't calling to me. Hubby won't eat them as they hurt his mouth. Anyway, I won't be eating sweets the rest of the month so hopefully I'll see a big change in my numbers by the end of the month.
