Thanks for the feedback! You mean the THREE HUNDRED carbs i inhaled on my gorge day...er, I mean, "up" day was too much
I'm on my third round of 3:1 now and I'll have a goal of 100 carbs for an up day. LORDY I can inhale a lotta food. ha ha
My first two rounds did not go so well on the up days, but it's a hard, long standing practice I'll try to break, one at a time. I'm devoted to my plan of seven weeks of this 3:1 cycle to see how it fits for me, then I'll tweak it as necessary. I do PERFECTLY on the low days but perfectly SCARY on the up ones. Carbs make me SUPER lethargic, slow, tired, dreary. I will try for 100. One carbier item per meal..see how that goes THANKS all

It may be a learning curve as you currently eat very low carbs. I wouldn't go any more than 100 g to start with.

Hi all.. Ok, so today is my first "carb up" day and I'm not sure how high to up them? I usually eat very low carb, say...20-40 g per day. I know this is very little, but it works for me. I'm celiac anyway and have been for years, so low carb has been my fate for literally years.
But this first day, do you think one carb per pound of body weight would be a good jumping off point? I know (and love) about this program that we can change it up when we figure what works or doesn't for us, but Im LOST on how to add carbs! I just realized all I know how to do is CUT them OUT Ha thanks
