I am currently carb cycling, but have changed the way I do it. I use to do a 3:1 cycle, and ate carbs with my 1st 2-3 meals of the day. Although I lost body fat, I did lose quite a bit of muscle.
So now I am carb cylcing, but do low days on cardio and rest days and high days on strength training days. I just started it this week so it will be interesting to see how it goes. By doing it this way, I am one day low, one day high, etc. So far I am finding it easier to get thru the low day b/c I know tomorrow will be high!
I still do not do NO carb days b/c my body just cannot handle it. I continue to have a small amount of oatmeal for breakfast on low days.
