Doode! What time is dinner?! Hmmm... inspiring me to make pizza this weekend, too! That would make the hubby very happy. :)

Yeah, the nutrition part is really, really detailed - awesome but half the stuff I skimmed over. It's a lot to take in and really grasp, but yet it's also really simple.

My suggestion is to first and foremost: make sure you have at least 1-2 goals & affirmations written out

_Then_ take the nutrition info, look at what you're already doing and where you need/want to tweak it. Focus on one thing at a time, like getting enough protein, or getting 6-8 servings of fruits/veggies, then move to the next thing.

We're in this for the LONG haul, not the quick fix, so there's time.

Enjoy!

I am so not skipping ahead- I hope I get TONS of reading done this weekend! Probably not today since I am cleaning for my party tomorrow! I may eat some pizza and dessert tomorrow night- and then buckle down the next couple of weeks- and really hit my goal this month! I have a feeling this is gonna be an awesome month for me!

I weighed in today at 136, and yesterday was my high carb day- so I am pretty happy. I am finished with CLX tomorrow- and so I thought why not start a fresh on Sunday with new workouts- and get really buckled down with the BFFM way of eating. I am not gonna go too over board tomorrow- (I actually am making a whole grain pizza dough for myself- and I am putting ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese with spinach, onion, peppers, and tomatoes... sound YUMMY?) I do think I may eat some of the other pizza's as well- but I may not- if my pizza is as delicious as it sounds!

I am so enjoying this journey with you both! :)

Nope... don't skip ahead. Besides, your eyes will glaze over when you get to the food details.

And it's amazing one you learn to work /smarter/ not harder.

You'll start to laugh at the people killing themselves at the gym.

And for the cardio - I know what you mean. I need a balance of a good heart thumpin' cardio a few times a day with the weight training... sometimes I get it with my weight workout (CrossFit leaves you in a puddle!) sometimes I have to suppliment.

I'm also at the point where I'm adding in a supplimental workout 1-2 times a week just to push me to my first goal a little faster. :)

I am so not working as hard as I thought I was LOL! I am so glad I got this book. When I first started on this healthy path~ I was working out 5-6 days a week, for 40+ min - and I was also doing ST 2-3 days (60 min with Jari Love) I was losing weight slowly (about 1-1.5 lbs a week) and then I started CLX- dropped the cardio to maybe 3 days a week- but upped the ST to 4 days a week. Great about the ST- not so great about losing the cardio- especially since my body type NEEDS it!! I am going back to cardio 6 days a week 40+ min... and I am finishing CLX this week (2 workouts left- including the one I am going to do right now) and and then I am going to begin Jari Love again- :)

I love the reading so far BFFM is awesome! thanks for encouraging me to get it!

I cant wait to get to the part about food! :) BUT I dont wanna skip ahead!
