Sounds like part of my breakfast yesterday morning! LOL!
Love the idea of a cookbook... will have to come up with a few good recipes.
Ooh!! I do have one to share for breakfast, loosly based off of a suggestion in the Zone book.
This is enough for 5 servings and is more of a framework than an actual recipe (Is how i cook. ;):
-I used 20 egg whites (basically 4 egg whites per serving) beaten with salt, pepper, and random seasonings - use what you like best
-sauteed about 1/2 cup diced onion (I did a fine dice, but if you like it chunky, go for it :)
-chopped up about a 1-1.5 cups worth of veggies I'd roasted for dinner (peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, etc)
I put all of it in a square baking pan - sprayed with non-stick spray - and baked on 400 for about 20-ish minutes. At the end, top it with 5 oz of shredded cheese and pop back in the oven long enough to let it melt.
Take the words “genetic freak” out of your vocabulary and substitute the words “hard working, committed, and focused” and you will have removed one obstacle to doing things you never thought possible. Top Dawg
