that sounds like a good plan, I have abstained from sugar for 56 days and plan to continue until April 30 so no desserts for me. It started as a weight loss effort, then I decided to give them up for Lent, then I challenged my daughter to give up sugar for 40 days...her tie ends April 30 and I decided to continue in support of her effort.
The only real failure is quitting!
