Glad you got the breathing under control. As I've quoted before Louis Lomax said the revolution was stopped by "day to day living" And that is what gets to us. It is big and powerful. So this is a lifetime struggle. I'd like to think the really slim have it easy and some do. But I observe my dil deliberately moderate her food intake and set aside "me" time and time to walk or exercise. It's a quiet life style, but if one watches her it is deliberate. And it pays off for her looks and health.
For me, I went to sleep lab last night and they have to increase the pressure on my CPAP. Sleep apnea can be a problem for energy and weight. Not an excuse, just glad when it was finally diagnosed someyears back so I could do better esp. driving awake.
I dont think I was lazy this weekend. I just havent been able to get my head in the game. Anyone got suggestions? I keep falling off the wagon because my head is just not into it.
I bought a new suit and it doesnt look terrible but it could be better. I also have the 5k and I know that I can do it but I have never actually jogged the whole distance because of my head. I went to the doctor and got the breathing under control so the rest is all me.
Wow, all of that sounds yummy... That is what drains my energy levels too. And I have a really hard time saying no! Mine is definitely better when I exercise though. I also notice that when I sleep in too late, I am more tired as well.
I have sabotaged my energy levels by eating candy and sweets around the house. Normally we keep none. But I am planning 3 parties.... 1. Circus theme luncheon. I love sweets so much I have my own cotton candy machine. 2. Photo Art Show/ Graduation birthday party for Granddaughter in June. 3. Baptism for great grandson in June.
I went to SuzinL chocolatier in Elyria for the 75% off sale and got mini jelly beans, salt water taffy, etc. as well as 20 pounds of milk and dark chocolate to make cancy favors in molds. I must get them made and in bags and off to DD house for safety's sake.
She said my ashma is bad so she put me back on daily medicine along with having to take my inhaler before I go for a jog or excercise. Sort of sucks but I guess that is what I have to deal with at the moment.
At this moment I think I range from 6-8 on most days. I havent found any foods that help or hinder it. I have found out that if I workout in the mornings for some reason I feel drained by 3. I am looking into that one. I am also going to the doctor next week so hopefully she will have some ideas too.
