I had my latest doctors appointment on Tuesday September 18th.
Everything is looking really good. I heard the heartbeat for the first time. He/She has a very strong heartbeat(150). I also felt the baby move for the first time yesterday(9-20).

I also went in Tuesday and had some blood drawn for an Alpha-Fetal Protein test. If the test comes out high, then I will have to possibly go in for a amnio. If the test comes back normal, then I won't have nothing to worry about. I go in on the 3rd of October for my ultrasound. We will know then if this baby is going to be a boy or a girl. My family keeps arguing what this baby's name should be. My husband and I have picked out two boys names and we have three girls names selected.

If the baby is a boy then his name will either be:
Joseph Alexander, or Sebistain Joseph
If the baby is a girl then her name will either be:
Anastasia Rose, Abigail Rose, or Samantha Lynn.

I thought I would drop a line, and let you know how things are going. Sorry I won't have an ultrasound picture to share with everybody in October. I am still without a computer at home. Well everybody have a great day.

Hi Donna,
We haven't "met" yet, but I wanted to say hello and encourage you as a fellow Oregonian and a former Central Oregonian (still one at heart). Glad to know you can hear the heart beat of the baby. Pray that you will have a happy, healthy baby and pregnancy. It gets harder as you get older doesn't it? I graduated from Bend Senior High School in 1959...my brother Mark married a classmate who grew up in LaPine...she's older than you, but her father still lives there and is in his 90's.

Hey thought I would drop in, and let you all know how I am doing. My computer at home went KAPUT!!!!!!!! I can only use the computer at work once a week. Everything is going good with the pregnancy. I am now 15 weeks 4days along now. The baby is growing nicely. Still cannot tell if the baby is a boy orr a girl yet. I will be getting another ultrasound done sometime in October. I am not sure when I will have a computer at home again. Probably not until sometime after tax season. I will try and make it here once a week, and let you know how I am doing. Well I have to go now. Have a great day ladies. I miss you all. The baby's heart beat is 163 beats per minute

CNA--I will be praying that all continues to go well. And that you will be able to have proof of a heartbeat soon.

Here is an update on my doctors appointment I had yesterday(Monday, 20th,2007)
Everything is going well. We didn't hear the heartbeat, because the baby is still to far down in the pelvic region. By my next appointment we should defintely be able to hear the heartbeat.(I will be 16 weeks pregnant by my next appointment). I have passed the critical stage for having a miscarriage, so it's smooth sailing from here out. I only have 28 weeks to go. I will update after my next appointment.
