Hi all,

I am going to close this thread and start a new one for Monthly Calendar from Sparks. This thread has gotten so large that it takes quite a while to load. I will start the new thread of Dec. 1.

Nina

May God abide in all of us and help us in our weight loss goals.

God bless our military personnel and bring them safely home to us.

May the sun be ever at your back and may God keep you uplifted.

Day 5:

Try healthier recipes. When treats are in the house, more of the dessert usually ends up in your belly than in your guests. So keep some low fat, low-calorie recipes and food on hand.

May God abide in all of us and help us in our weight loss goals.

God bless our military personnel and bring them safely home to us.

May the sun be ever at your back and may God keep you uplifted.

Simplify gifts. Your loved ones probably feel just as overwhelmed about gifts as you do. Instead of buying for everyone, draw names from a hat or give to a charity in someone's honor.

May God abide in all of us and help us in our weight loss goals.

God bless our military personnel and bring them safely home to us.

Day 1:

Take inventory. Identify all the situations (office parties, mall food courts, family gatherings) that make it difficult for you to eat healthy during the holiday season. Make a plan for staying on track in every situation.

Nance,

I have enjoyed doing it this past month and have even printed out the Oct. calendar. I will continue thru Oct. and see how it goes from there. I think this is more about getting the info out to members rather than having an exchange of postings. I don't mind doing it. I am feeling better today after getting almost 12 hours sleep last night. Have to start getting everything packed as I leave Wed. night. Take care.

Nina, thank you so much for taking this on this past month! Hope you get to feeling better soon and that NOTHING interferes with your enjoyment of your daughter's upcoming wedding. Smile. Thank her again for all of us grateful citizens for her contribution to our safety...she is appreciated in ways I cannot begin to express!

Based on the lack of use this thread has received the past several months, I think it is time to let it rest for a while. I do not have the time or the will to keep it up so will relinquish that job to whoever else wants to come along and take over. It served me well when I had to the time for it. Now I come to it with an attitude that is not healthy...for it or for me.
