Wild Oats as a company is being bought out by Whole Foods - so there will be no more Wild Oats.

I also am sad, I really liked shopping there. I have been frequenting New Seasons in Mountain Park and it is really growing on me.

I haven't cared for Whole Foods because I think their prices are a little higher. If you stick to a specific brand it is ok. The Whole Foods at Bridgeport Village intimidates me though - to big.

OH NO!!! Wild Oats will be no more in Bridgeport Village??!?!?!? I wondered what the heck was going on, when I saw Whole Foods was being built right across the street!!!! I really like Wild Oats. I live in SE Portland and the closest one to me, on Division, closed down last year. I was so bummed. When I lived in Beaverton I used to go to the one off 117th, but that closed down shortly after I started shopping there!!! JEESH!!

Thanks for the tip. I am always on the lookout for sale prices on Almond milk, so I stocked up.

I went to the Whole Foods over at Bridgeport Village. It is huge, to big for me. I get overwhelmed. I thought their prices were a little high also. My sister-in-law told me to stick with a certain brand (I can't remember it now) and the prices were much more reasonable.

I visited New Season in Mtn. Park last weekend and I really like that store a lot. The layout is good and they have lots of good stuff. I am waiting for the new fish dish they taste tested this last weekend. It is a Tilapia with some sort of coconut crust on it - yummy!

I was just at Wild Oats in Bridgeport Village this morning. I guess they have been bought out by Whole Foods. One of the employees told me to watch for the 75% off sale coming soon.

I guess we are down to Whole Foods and New Seasons now.

Thanks for the info! I've recently discovered the one in Gresham, and enjoy trying new items. I really like Amy's burritos for lunch.
