WHAAAT? I'd never heard of that before! I use (heated) bottled water in my Neti Pot, and this serves as a good reminder to keep up that habit. Yikes!

As sad as it is, it won't stop me from using my Neti Pot. My understanding is that the bacteria is only grown in warm bodies of water like found in the south and doesn't exist here. Doesn't mean we have other crap in our water but does sound like bottled or boiled (and cooled) water would be the prudent way to move forward from this.
