Since I am diabetic, I do not use the SparkPeople prepared daily suggestions. I put in my own choices. Once you put something in, (search for it in the food data base and most stuff is there) you make it a favorite(little box by the add this food place) and next time you just go to your favorites. You can put your own things in...it takes time, but once it is in your favorites you don't have to do it again. I have many, many favorites and so just search there and make up my day's meals. I don't do it in advance. I list them as they are happening or do it when I get home. I have lost 75 pounds so I think it works :)
I have to limit carbohydrates, so knowing what's in everything is wonderful!!! The count at the end is great to see how you are doing with your goal numbers (which you can adjust as well!) I allow only 150 carbs a day..etc.
I have been on SP for a year and a half and am so happy my daughter told me about it. I must control my blood sugar by what I eat, so WOW...it is saving my life!!
