Great idea. Everyone need to set small attainable goals to work towards with a reward in view.

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!
I think having a goal of some sort helps me stay on my program as well - altho a lot of slip ups and I don't always make it, but keep trying. Years ago in a WW class, the leader set up a little box of some sort I remember and a little bonus in there, maybe a WW treat, I don't remember. But I think it is a good idea, I'd not thought of it for some time. I might just do that for myself, but on a daily basis and of course a smaller amount of $ for each day..maybe $1. a day. Thanks for the idea.

That's a pretty cool idea, especially for a group like that.
My will power, motivation - comes from my grandson Tyler. I keep a photo of him in his Army dress uniform on my refrigerator. When his National Guard unit deployed May 11 I committed myself to be healthy when he returns from Iraq next year. He is unselfishly giving a year of his life is service to the country, the least I can do is to be healthy when he returns. He's been gone 6 weeks and I've lost 15 pounds. I know there will be weeks when I don't loose anything and things will be tough, but I've got this site and the teams for support; just like I am supporting what Tyler is doing. He won't be taking a day or week off, so I won't either.

I have a goal that might help. My goal is to stay on track for two weeks and when I make it I put 25.00 in a jar to spend on anything I want. And I start it again. I sometime save the money so I can buy a new outfit, or buy a new pan, knife or cookbook. or a memeber ship to the YMCA. I have done this in the past and it really worked for me. It is not a weight loss goal the weight loss is a bonus. When I was younger I lost 79 pound and was the leader of a weight program. I put a big pretty pink box with a big bow in front of the class and gave the class six weeks to not go off program. I put a gold star on everyday for the six weeks, if they even lick a finger that was not on the program they had to take off the star for the day. At the end of the six weeks,the person with the most stars won, my winner had lost 32 1/2 pounds, she was my largest lady in the class. But everyone in the class.(all 35 of them) had all lost really wonderfully. So everyone won really. I am working on my first two weeks right now. I am so large I am unable to do much when it comes to exercising I have some medical problems but my food program is doing great and I am drinking all my water.
