Welcome. My favorite gym is Bay Area Athletic Club. We have a curves, and a couple of others but BAAC is the only one that has a pool and all the major equipment. Some of the hotels will give discounts for them as well - don't be afraid to ask.

From Hwy 101 take Newmark Avenue (The intersection by the Casino). You can only turn one way as the other direction takes you into the bay :-) Go about 2.5 miles past WalMart and Past Cranberry Sweets. The gym is on the left hand side. When you get there wave to me! I live real close by. LOL

Interesting - we lived in Coquille for 8 years. During that time I worked with Dunes Patrol via Search and Rescue and Civil Air Patrol patrolling the dunes for safety, lost and aid. It was fun, interesting and a lot of work. Loved the area. Now live in Lyons, Oregon and rarely get to the coast.

As for a gym - never went to one while there. Sorry! Got my exercise in other ways. emoticon

Hello,

I'm a temporary team member lol. I'm actually from California not Oregon but my family and I enjoy spending our vacation time every year riding ATV's at the Oregon Dunes. We will be staying in North Bend for almost 2 weeks in July and I was looking for a gym recommendation for the area.
