I really hope it isn't pregnancy. I will take a test to be sure. I don't think it is Depression. It just doesn't seem to fit. Thank you all for your advise! I will be making an appt. with my Dr. right away and see what he may or may not find out.
I can relate. I feel great after exercising (around 6am) but come 12:30 I am sooo tired I can barely keep my eyes open. I sleep 6-9 hours a night and have went to my local doctor who said I was depressed. I am NOT depressed as I have been through post parteum depression and know depression. So, I have made an appointment with a new doctor but can't get in until th 29th of June. My only other symptom is that my hair is falling out...not like with chemo but enough to make my hair dresser say something everytime I go for the last year or so. Let me know what you find out. I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone :)
You've done quite well losing 15# since February, don't be hard on yourself for that. I think you should see a dr. if you are abnormally tired.. could be a lot of different things - if I eat too many carbs, it zaps my energy... But I wouldn't try and second guess what could be a medical issue - and most likely easy to treat as well... Anemia, vitamin deficiencys, all can play a part. maybe smaller meals more often would help? But I think your first step should be a dr. visit... Keep us updated on your progress. We care! Betty

Sorry to hear of your condition. I'd recommend trying a search on SP for "tired" or something similar and see what you can learn. Could be an allergy to something you are eating or too little protein or not enough carbs or ??? Try the search before heading to doc and see if you can remedy it yourself.

Hi there! I started Sparkpeople in February and to date have lost 15 pounds. I am really proud of that! Especially since I had tried losing weight in the past with personal trainers and Weight Watchers and had no luck! My problem however started about a month ago. I have been extremely tired. Exhausted even. I have found that it is especially after I eat. But it has been getting so bad that I can't even get the energy to go to the gym.I don't know what to do other than maybe go to the Doctor and have some labs drawn to check everything out. Before I do that I just wanted to know if anyone could relate and/or have any advise as to what I could do to change this chronic tiredness!
