I know I don't. With the FMS, I rarely sleep more than 45 min at a time. I do go back to sleep only to wake up again.

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!

I'd love to get 9 hours in a night but that usually only happens on weekends. Most weeknights I get 8 hours. My body likes it and I usually wake up with energy to get moving.

I'm like you Goddess, I need 8, but dislike going to bed at a reasonable hour and function on 5 or 6. If only someone forced me to bed like I do my kids! I'm working on it and most often now I'm getting 7.

6-7 is the best for me....

If I get 8 I start the day tired...seems strange...but true.

I generally do best on 7-8 hours of sleep. To get this, I have to go to bed by at least 9, as I get up for work about 4:20.

Don't think about what you CAN'T do, think about what you CAN do.

I function best on 6-7 hours of sleep a night. I can function on 5 but I get tired in the middle of the day. Increasing our fitness makes important to get the correct sleep.

I have found that rest is a key ingredient to loss and better health. My body would like me to think that I should stay up... it's lying. 8-ish hours is closer to what it needs. I found some great music to fall asleep to and got a new bed and now I can go to bed at a decent hour and get up when I need to fully rested. Forcing sleep has been worth it!

how many people out there feel that you are actually getting enough rest? I dislike going to bed at a reasonable hour and can actually function on 5 - 6 hours of sleep (although it is a struggle). Anyone else with this "problem"? How does it affect you? Any strategies?
