I agree with JEPSON, the entire state has so much beauty. My job has allowed me to travel from Baker to Ashland, Astoria to Gold Beach. I love this Beautiful state, I have favorite hiking areas, favorite parks and just love my Oregon. markssweeti
I was born in Ashland..many many years ago when it was a small town. When you walked down the street the merchants knew who you were and who your family was. It was wonderful. Then we moved to Klamath Falls totally different and I enjoyed living there. Then I came to Portland to go to college and never left. This state is so gorgeous. There isn't a part of it that doesn't have its own beauty. I feel very privileged to have lived here all my life.
Like everyone I like the whole state I live near Roseburg and like the Hills and Trees and the Rock hunting I also like the Coast real well and Eastern Oregon has great rock hunting but I don't care for the heat and desart
I just returned "Home" to Oregon after 50 years away ~ I love it all the trees, the coast, the rain, but most of all the people.

Wow! Got some great responses!!! I too haven't found a part of Oregon that I don't like. There is so much beauty in our state, it's hard to take it all in. I would like to explore the Columbia Gorge a bit. Anyone know of some good places to check out up there?
I like the Oregon Coast the best. My Favourites are---- Seaside--Depoe Bay--Glenn Eden--
Rosalyn Larson I am so happy to be on Maintenance. It took 2 years but it was worth it. I am going to keep it in a 5#s range up or down. My Promise is I will never ever do that to myself again-----Rosalyn
Hard to say... if I had to pick one spot, I might pick Crater Lake. But anything in the mountains or on the coast is great. Eastern Oregon also has its charm, but I definitely prefer the western half of the state.

I love it all - it has a place for just about every mood and situation. I too have lived all over Oregon and loved something about every place I lived. So, I'll just have to say I love Oregon in its entirety.

McMinnville. It has great people, one of the finest ccmmunity theaters in the United States, an outstanding college, the finest air and space museums, a beautiful main street and it is close to big cities, mountains and the beach.
Chuck in McMinnville with Oregon's best loved main street, in the heart of the wine country, and the home of the Smithsonian of the West - Evergreen Air & Space Museums
I like the Willamette Valley area-- It is close to the coast and it is close to the Mountians. The weather is mild most of the time and it is green! I am from eastern oregon where everything is dry so living here is a dream! Della
