Where ever I am at the moment. I was born and raised in Salem where I could head east and be in the mountains in no time at all, or head west and be at the beautiful Pacific ocean. How lucky is that!

The Gorge. Whenever I'm away, the minute I see the gorge, I know I'm home. We spend a lot of time hiking there.

I was born in Ashland..many many years ago when it was a small town. When you walked down the street the merchants knew who you were and who your family was. It was wonderful. Then we moved to Klamath Falls totally different and I enjoyed living there. Then I came to Portland to go to college and never left. This state is so gorgeous. There isn't a part of it that doesn't have its own beauty. I feel very privileged to have lived here all my life.

I just returned "Home" to Oregon after 50 years away ~ I love it all the trees, the coast, the rain, but most of all the people.

Wow! Got some great responses!!! I too haven't found a part of Oregon that I don't like. There is so much beauty in our state, it's hard to take it all in. I would like to explore the Columbia Gorge a bit. Anyone know of some good places to check out up there?

I haven't met a part of Oregon that I didn't like (in at least some way). And I must say that there are very few places in the world I have been to that didn't remind of some part of Oregon...

The coast, the Gorge, the high desert, the rivers, the lakes, the mountains, the ocean, the dry places, the lush places....hmmmm I guess I love it all!

Hard to say... if I had to pick one spot, I might pick Crater Lake. But anything in the mountains or on the coast is great. Eastern Oregon also has its charm, but I definitely prefer the western half of the state.

I love it all as well. But, there is nothing like walking across the street, going down on the beach and walking or running, or sitting or whatever. I love the coast...

I love it all - it has a place for just about every mood and situation. I too have lived all over Oregon and loved something about every place I lived. So, I'll just have to say I love Oregon in its entirety.

Wow, what a hard question to answer.
I was born in Bend, lived in Redmond, Salem, Albany, Jefferson, Gold Hill, Central Point, Jacksonville, Dallas, Perrydale and here in Milton-Freewater.
I have been all over the State, up and down the Coast, Central, Eastern part and the Valley. I think we have it all in this State.
I think I like it here best because we don't have the massive amount of people or the Pollution or large amount of rain here that we have on the west side of the mountains.
I like central oregon. In between sisters and sweet home and north to south border toborder. You guessed it the high cascades.

McMinnville. It has great people, one of the finest ccmmunity theaters in the United States, an outstanding college, the finest air and space museums, a beautiful main street and it is close to big cities, mountains and the beach.

I like the Willamette Valley area-- It is close to the coast and it is close to the Mountians. The weather is mild most of the time and it is green! I am from eastern oregon where everything is dry so living here is a dream! Della

Bend. I used to live in Lincoln City and I loved to drive the coast whenever I could. Gorgeous...But Central Oregon can be breathtaking so often.

I absolutely LOVE the Oregon coast. Brookings is the closest Oregon coast city to Klamath Falls so we try to go there several times a year.
What part of Oregon do you like the best?
