thanks for telling me, I went and logged my miles for the weekend, 7 miles, nice to see that my miles do something for someone else besides me

have any of you hikers checked out the BeeWellMiles ad that has been showing up on SP? I did... there's a fun link where you can log your miles for a 15 cents per mile (run or walked) -- to benefit breast cancers. Other stuff there too but it's a nice incentive to get going. (20 mi day limit).

Off of Hwy 138 Where all the water falls are is the best! Hwy 58 from k-falls to hwy 138 to Roseburg-
There are also several hiking places on the outskirts of Crater lake and Union springs!

Another question, I have lived in SO my whole life and have never gotten familiar with hike sites, do you have any other suggestions? Once again I am looking for sites that allow dogs

I have not heard of that hike. I will look into it to do on a weekend. Thanks for the tip!

Over 400 miles from me. There are a lot of members in that area though.

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!

That sounds good but I am afraid it is a tad too far right now. Hope you find lots of takers.

Anyone from the Rogue Valley hiked up to the top of Roxy Ann Peak? It is not extremely difficult, but it is a very good workout. I did it with a client of mine this last Sunday in the awesome weather.
