I just wanted to check in quickly. I needed a short break *S*
I am going through everything in my house. I am not moving with any crap or junk or anything that shouldn't move.
I am even getting rid of things that I feel are negative energy etc....
yep...clean slate!!
so in a way, having my closing date moved was a good thing..*S*

Tina..."Bless you" for sneezing! You are doing much better than I am. I just came off a week of eating every carb in sight and today I can't stand the smell or sight of food....

I am going to do my thyroid test finally the end of the week where they will do several tests on me, I kept forgetting to set it up. I finally marked it on a TO DO list and will go Friday!
Not that I am holding my breath or anything, because I just don't think it is my thyroid. I have always had a clean blood screen except tryglycerides (spelling?), and everything else has been great...
but I am taking the advice and suggestions of my other doctors and knocking it out just to make sure...and getting the thyroid testing that is more detailed ..just to make sure it isn't the issues that I need to deal with...S**

okay...that is it for me for now..*S*

and got all of my water in, but water is never an issue for me...

I finally went to the doctor - I have a sinus infection. Got some amox and can go back to work in the morning. Yay!

Tried to go out for a walk but after 5 minutes got dizzy. Still need to recover - so I guess tomorrow.

Had my lunch and I am not a salad eater. Couldn't finish it all. I am still sneezing and my eyes keep watering. Must be allergies.

Good Afternoon! I slept until 9 this morning, yikes! I guess that is what being on vacation can do to you. We went to breakfast late this morning so I will call it brunch. I ate a western omlette without cheese and a slice of whole wheat toast. It feels so freeing to be able to eat regular food. This should help me a lot because it is hard to find "special" dietary foods up where I live. It is farm country so finding fresh fruits and veggies isn't a problem right now. We are off to shop for mini blinds and ceiling fans. Maybe I will sleep better tonight! emoticon I'll try to come back later today. I love seeing all my friends here!!

This site is so cool. I love the emphasis on taking baby steps and making them a lifetime lifestyle change. It is so much better than trying to tackle everything that needs changed all at once. I too got burned out on the LO challenge but I am very glad to find so many friends here.

I have gotten off to a good start this morning. I planed my meals last night. I haven't done that in ages. It definately makes mealtimes less stressful when you know exactly what you are going to eat and have all the items on hand and ready to eat.

It is back to work for me. I would love to go explore the site some more but that is going to have to wait. Unfortunately, it won't be tonight as we have to take Jess to orientation and schedule pick up at the career center she will be attending half days this year. We got her schedule from her high school last Friday. I still have to get on line and find the bus schedule as no one seemed to know anything about that.

Linda...it seems to be in the water. I think several WO are resigning. I too have been with ediets for along time. I was along time ago before Susan took over...and continued to help out every now and then. I got burnt out big time and left for awhile. I tried to find my way back but found that most of the core members were gone. But...guess what!! I am finding them right here! How cool is that. Anyway..follow your heart and do what you need to do.

Hi, all. I'm taking a few minutes here at work to browse the site again. (Can't help myself)

Thought I'd let my fellow watch officers know: I've resigned my commission. LOL. This has nothing to do with the change in regime - I've been thinking about this for a couple of LO's. I really need to wean myself away from the computer, and being a WO is not helping. So.....now I have to decide if I want to stay on as a captain. That's another thing I've thought about for quite some time. I enjoy it, but it does take alot of time, effort, and imagination to keep it fresh. So, I'm going to write to my teammates and see if someone wants to take over, then I'll see how it goes from there. I've been captain of my ship for over 2 years, and the purser for 8 or 9 months before that. I think it's run it's course for me.

I guess I had hesitated before because I didn't want to lose touch with friends I have made, but now I know I don't have to do that. Now I have to compose an email to my shipmates. Hate to do it, but I need a break. Don't know if I'll stay on as a crewmember or not. Haven't decided that yet.

Good morning everyone! I was up today at 4:00 letting that puppy out. She let me go back to bed for a bit so that was good.

I've had my breakfast and coffee. I put everything in my journal for today but just realized that I am wasting calories on the fat free cream I put in my coffee. I didn't measure it but I will later today. I usually have a cup in the evening. Does anyone have any suggestions for this...I can't drink my coffee black.

The boys are fed and I have my exercise clothes on. Getting ready to head for the basement to do the elliptical.

Good Morning All,

Fern and Paulette, so glad you found this place!

My sinus' are really acting up today. My eyes are watering and I'm sneezing, I took an allergy pill, sure wish it would kick in.

I brougt a salad for lunch. I am going to top it with that tuna in a pouch.

It is beautiful out today, but the pollen count is awful. But I have to stay inside and work, jeez....but I need money to survive.
