1) Are you motivated to make long-term lifestyle changes?

Yes, I am. Not getting any younger and definitely passed the (younger) idea I'm bigger than life and invincible. If I'm going to keep up with life, I better get my act together or I'll be left behind and lose it all. I only have this life and I must make the best of it for myself and those who surround me.

2). Have you addressed the big distractions in your life?

Just when I think I have, a new one comes along. It's a life long process. It's key to recognize them, admit they are there and work on them. As my signature says:
"The eye sees only what the mind is prepared to comprehend." - Henri Bergson, French Philosopher and Educator

3). Do you have a realistic picture of how much weight you'll lose and how quickly?

Doing my best to do so; I have to remember that nothing is ever set in stone so a bit of forgiveness and flexibility is important when there are set back (going back to 2); however, I have to keep focussed on the prize. Life goes on.

4). Are there emotional issues connected to your weight?

To say there aren't would be delusional imo. I believe that this is one heading under distractions and should be dealt in the same way. Get help when needed, too.

I have lost 75 pounds so I have made long term changes, but ever vigilen

I sometimes fail at that, but most times I have been on track

yes, I do believe I do

Always, why do you think I gained as much as I did. Now I handle my emotions differently
