Daisy,

Maybe you can help me out....I am trying to find out how you huddle. I clicked on the button in my sparkpoints but it takes me to a selection of teams. I have joined all that I want to join for now...and at times...when I am in the message boards...I see remarks rotating on the right that say View -blog and huddle But, I do not see an access to get in on the conversations. What am I doing wrong?


Never mind I just figured it out. Thanks anyway.

Hi Sue, welcome to the team! Happy to have you with us! Carolyn has given you some great advice, so I will just add one more thing. Watch your salt intake! I control my blood pressure with 3 pills a day, but still have to keep the salt way down. Enjoy your trip, have a great Thanksgiving, then get back on Spark track! Tracking your food is a great eye opener and one of the best tools for controlling your weight. Good luck!

Welcome to the team! I have High Blood pressure and my bad Cholesterol is high. About losing weight. MOVE MORE and EAT LESS. When I say to eat less, eat balanced diet, in the calorie range that SP recommends. Don't skip meals. As to Moving... I exercise 4-5 times a week. Recommended is 30 minutes but start with any exercise. Even 10-15 minutes daily is a good start. Join the Team challenge below on the team page. Also, Daisy one of the team leaders is a good cheer leader so get her on your side and she'll continue to cheer you on!!!

Well, I went to the Dr. for a pesky cough I just couldn't get rid of. As I am sitting there waiting for the Dr. this sweet Tech came in to check the ole blood pressure and yes you guessed it it was high! Well, I sat there for awhile and they took it again and it hadn't changed much.
So needless to say the Dr put in on a small dose in B.P.med. And he wants me to get a full work up on test, and come back to see him. Oh, and he did say he wanted this done soon! I am traveling in a few days to Atlanta from, Delaware, for Thanksgiving. I am going to do what he says but I need help from SparkPeople,,, Please help me with some tips for taking off some weight, (I am over weight)..... I have done SparkPeople before with good results, just need to be motivated again. Thanks for listening. Blessings, Sue
