I have been terrible about posting but my 10k steps/day desire was genuine. Here are the results. Up to over 20k/day, just by changing my routine. Lost 20% of my body weight. BP from stroke level to 127/72 (at the dr's office...a bigee for me) cholesterol from 244 to 130. GOUT....GONE. Uric acid at the bottom of the scale. Three medications discontinued. I am looking at the big 60 years young and I feel better than I did at 30. Walking was the secret for me. Now I can't seem to get enough of it and I am amazed at some of the silly pleasures I am now getting because of it.
