I've been reading your blogs - kinda think you have a lot of emotional stress going on. Be good to yourself!
Yes, I take several medi's. My reference is to drugs as opposed to prescribed medicines. Guess my age is showing - I don't consider pot medicinal. Time will tell if I follow up on it, and if my cardiologist lets me take it. My sister takes it in capsule form for auto-immune diseases - but then, she has always used. I wouldn't mind doing it that way, but I can't afford it. Oh well, tomorrow is another day - I'll think about it later.
Have a good night
Fran

O.K. - re the "legal stuff" going into your body! Do you have any medication at all? or is the reference to drugs as in Dope, Heroin etc.?

IF you use legally prescribed drugs and don't have much of a problem, then I would put the legally prescribed marijuana in the same category. BUT that is something you need to speak with your Dr about.

re the biofeedback for me - it is a different type of stress - a physical one, but not physical in the sense that it is NOT my mind/body causing it. Nevermind - might look into it and see if it can be used on the culprit:-)

Take care, and have a good one, yourself

Thanks Kris. I used hypnosis to stop smoking years ago, and my niece used biofeedback with autoimmune diseases so I know they both work - hadn't thought of them for this problem.
The medical type is much more pure than the illegal stuff (or so they tell me), and it is dispensed here legally by prescription. I know I can get it - just not sure I want to. I have never believed in using drugs so I'm probably going to look into your suggestions first.
Try some biofeedback yourself and eliminate some of the stress you are living with. It would help a lot, and it's probably covered by your insurance.
Have a good one.

Hi, Fran! No sorry, I don't know anything at all about medical marijuana (nor the illegal stuff either). I would be inclined to check it out tho', because I have heard (including from Doctors) that it has it's place in medicine. I don't know if it is the same strain as the illicit stuff, but they would be able to help you with that. My tremors have mostly settled back down again. I think that they raised their ugly head again because of extreme stress I have been under. Things I couldn't do much about!

Let us know what the Dr's say, tho'.

Hypnosis is also a recommended alternative treatment, as is Biofeedback. The link to the Mayo Clinic explaining that is below: www.mayoclinic.com/health/biofeedback/SA00

Just a thought and possibly worth a try, too.

Take care,
Kris xx

Hi Kris. Hope you also have a happy holiday season. Where has the year gone?
I tried acupuncture - didn't work The therapist determined that my condition is chronic (I've had it for several years) and that it probably wouldn't - but I tried anyway. I was just advised that medical marijuana is being prescribed for tremors - don't know if I want to try that or not? Guess I'll have to think on it. Do you have any knowledge on this?
Fran

It is coming up close to the Festive Season. For those in the States it is Thanksgiving already. With it comes a lot of extra socialising and stress also. With that stress you may notice that your tremors will possibly increase.

The exercise is to learn some new ways to minimise that stress.

I hope that everyone is managing their tremors well, and that you enjoy this time of year.

Take care,
Kris
