I have been an active member of SP since February of '10, when I discovered that SP was one of few sites I could access while at work
What can I say, it was a tedious job and I don't work there anymore anyway. I was tired of squeezing into my pants, and lugging around the extra lbs. I started halfheartedly tracking my food and water, mainly just being sure I was eating more fruits and vegetables. I love the tracker.
I started out at 230 lbs, today I weighed in at 190.
At points in my life, this wouldn't do. So SLOWWWWWW! Now, being closer to 50, and with health issues, this is GREAT! 40 lbs down, 15 to goal. I am wearing size 14 Levi's, albeit the ones with a bit of stretch (can't seem to find any other kind these days). That's ok with me. I am 5'9", so I can get away with it.
I have MS, so I can't walk fast enough to get much exercise that way, which makes the going slower. I do ride my recumbent exercise bike at least 4 times a week though, so I do get some cardio, thank goodness.
