I do great all day long until bedtime, then a crazy hunger hits. How do you all handle evening hunger? What kind of snacks do you eat?

well I dont know where to post so I guess this is as good a place as any...I have been in the hospital again trying to find the answer for my migraine headaches. They found a spot on my brain and changed my meds, changed my diet. I feel good about the changes. I start my new diet tomorrow, I have to work up to walking 1 mile a day, and I am on new medication. I wish everyone well...all of you seemed to be doing great on here...smiles

Oatmeal in the morning, one package from the type you add water to is only l00 calories. I don't add milk. That and a cup of tea will get you through the morning and then midway you can have a piece of toast and believe about 80 calories and a little butter spry is not much, so now you have l80 calories and you have not had lunch yet. I think half a can of chicken is about 45 calories and a slice of bread 80 so now for lunch you had l25 added to breakfast and you have l80 plus l20, well, that is not much 320 and look what is left for l200 880. Mid afternoon have some jello believe 90 calories or rice cake 50 or yogut 90, then supper you can have some soup with crackers, but becareful because I think 5 is l00 calories saltines, but look at what you have left so enjoy. So if you try to eat like this after two weeks your stomach will tell you it does not want more. You have to want to loos to loose. No one can do it for you. You have to sit down and make your mind up to do it. I lost l5 lbs for two years and then I went on vacation and didn't gain till I came back, why? Because of all the walking I did. When I got back I stopped and little by little had foods with calories as taste buds came back, so becareful. Now I have l0 or ll to go.

If you use your eye and have your meat, chicken or fish the size of a deck of cards, and that is small, then fill the plate with low calorie veggies, you will have enough to eat. Later have a yogut or rice cakes. Rice cakes are 50 calories for only one with nothing on it. I use butter spray, fat free.

Sorry about your ticket(s) Yes, when we get off our plans we need to get right back on again right away. The problem I always have is one tiny slip seems to always give me permission to keep on eating.

Hi Amy! sorry about your ticket! I had a fender bender that gave ME a ticket (darn) junk happens! It was settled a couple of weeks ago so now I can get on with my life! My weight is out of control but tomorrow I start calorie counting 1200 or BUST!!! hugs linda

Im really bummed..I was coming home from an avon meeting last night(I had gotten the wrong day and had 2 new avon reps in the car)well I was driving my brothers car which has all these new fangled contraptions and lights on it..I was stopped by the police because I had no lights on..sigh..I called this morning and its 175.00 before march 2. Im wondering how am I going to pay for that? sigh.. I havent had a ticket in 6 years at least. Very depressing...

I have a really bad menstration time..migraine headaches for 7 days, bleeding so heavy I have to stay in bed for 3 days, cramps. This last time I took a lot of pain meds and did something to my stomach. Havent been able to eat much besides milk toast and soft foods. Im hoping soon I will be able to go back to my diet and start losing weight again. My sweetheart is coming home in 2 weeks from Iraq and I want to look good for him..sigh.

Sparkpeople has been such a great outlet for me. I use to chat on yahoo and the people I met there most of them would ask me for money or want to send me money..most of the time it was bogus checks or they wanted to send money to the credit cards I dont have..lol Here on sparkpeople I trust the people I talk to..they are honest, and we are all trying to get to one place and that is better health. Coming here to sparkpeople has been such a safe place for me...thank you sparkpeople!
