It sounds like everyone had a good weekend, even if it wasn't perfect.

Me, I'm having trouble getting in my exercise. Don't laugh! I can't get settled into a routine.

Friday I had a contractor start some work on my house, so I have tried to be around as much as possible. They were there Friday, Saturday, and again today. I don't know how much longer, but I think at least another week. I am a work for a few hours now.

Saturday was mostly around the house, and then met my dad for dinner. My mom is out of town, so my sister and I try to keep him occupied. Dad and I split a meal, and then had diet snowballs for dessert on the way home. Sunday, I went horseback riding wtih my sister, and then dad met us for dinner. I haven't tracked anything since the beginning of June when my work schedule got so bad. Hopefully things will settle, but in the meantime, I am just trying to be aware of my choices.

Congrats on the size 11 Reggie! Good job.

Hello!! I'm finally home from my weekend at my friends house. She ran her first half marathon today in 2hrs 9 mins 23 secs. I was there to cheer her on all the way through out as I drove the route,parked,took pics, then moved on until she got to the end...

Saturday, I did my long run as planned(10KM) and had a good breakfast and dinner...lunch was dicey!!! but I never tracked. Oh...only one glass of wine!!!

Today I got no exercise!!! But food intake was good.
No alcohol today either.

All together I'd have to say it was a good weekend...hey guess I'm a warrior!!!

Kitty great to hear your on the mend!! And wearing a size 11...... emoticon

KateSP, sounds like you did good to me. All that activity has got to be taken into account. I don't track on the weekend like I use to as there is no computer at my camper, and I'm doing ok so far!!

kitty i dream of size 11!! wow you have lost so much, congratulations :-)

i did well on saturday, didn't track but prob was within my range, only had 1 beer, amazing for a sat!!

yesterday went for a huge beautiful walk but then had a bottle of wine and ate too much....oh well, oopsie!! hope everyone else had a good one :-)

Good morning, folks. Checking in for added security. Went according to plan yesterday. Did not overeat. Did not eat popcorn at the movie. Hairspray was great. Travolta was amazing. Got my hair done. Bought a pair of size 11 trousers. Still blows my mind that I wear size 11! Today, I plan to be more active because THE SUN IS OUT!! Ta for now, Reggie

Good morning, weekend warriors.
I am still on the mend, but feeling better knowing that I lost a pound this week. I was thinking that I would definitely gain what with not running this week at all! I am committed to walking for an hour this morning. I have a solid food plan in place and will stick to it. I have bruised legs after the surgery, but everyday I am less uncomfortable. Going to a movie with my Emma this evening, maybe getting my hair done today. Pampering moi today! Have a great day, folks. Ta, Reggie

hello all :-)

am very impressed with you guys and all your exercise!! i'm going to do step today which should be good, i love it and have been doing it since sept so i finally know what i'm doing!

i only had 3 wines last night and no more when i got home which is great for me, but i did overeat which i'm a little disappointed about. I guess the good thing is that i wasn't as bad as i could have been, and the fact is that i tried...i was mindful. I was able to track everything too, so that's good even if i did go over.

Friday afternoon: Party at a friend's house. I'm bringing my boys with me. I'll watch the food, tiny portions of whatever looks good. This evening I'll do strength training.

Saturday: Water aerobics (hey, AQUAFIT, I'm doing well at leading them now!) in the evening. Hill interval climing in the morning.

Sunday: Church in the park. Again, watching my portions.



If hunger isn't the problem, food isn't the answer.

Morning. I don't know yet what my weekend entails. My hubby doesn't tee off til 2pm today so we won't know until this evening if he makes the cut. If he plays well and makes the cut I'll be caddying Saturday and Sunday. If he doesn't play well we'll be driving back home late tonight.

I've been getting tons of exercise this week with all of the caddying. I just don't know about the food. With the fitness calculator I'm burning over a 1000 calories a day so I know i need to be eating a little bit more but I'm just very scared that maybe I'm eating too much and after all of this exercise I'm either going to actually gain or not drop a single pound. I have no scale to check how I'm doing and it just worries me. Oh well, so is life!

Good morning, folks.
A bit of a topsy turvy week for me. I am still on the mend from my vericose vein surgery in my legs. I have had good walks outside everyday since Monday, and the rest of the time have had my legs elevated. The food was out of control to a certain extent on Wednesday, but I reined it in. It is pouring rain today -- so I do not anticipate outside exercise. I am back in the office for a s--tload of appts today. Picking my Emma up this evening: maybe Hairspray movie -- a short run tomorrow. I was told by my runner friend that I have been running 10K and didn't know it. I only do a 15 minute mile, though, Didi. Still have to improve my time. But I am pleased about endurance! Weather permitting, I am hoping to get outside for walking/jogging as much as I can. I get staples out Tues. Ta for now, Reggie

Hi KateSp, Well this weekend will be a bit trying for me as I'll not be in my usual surrounds at all. I'm spending the weekend at my girlfriends house. She's running in the Nova Scotia Marathon and I'm there for support!!
I'm hoping to keep the eating under control and not let her nervous energy transfer onto me!!!

I plan on doing my long run 10KMS on Saturday instead of Sunday, as the streets would be closed off to the runners.

I've had an exceptional as far as food and exercise go so I'm really hoping for a strong weekend.

Hello people! i hope i'm not too presumptuous by starting this as a new person....but i really wanted to get on with it and as i live in south australia we are ahead of you guys time wise :-)

Today, friday, am going to my friend's house, will drive so not drink much and am taking vegie sticks and low fat dip. I will try really hard to not have anything else....or if so, only a tiny bit. Will go to the gym this morning.

Sat: gym....no alcohol, track
Sun: gym, track food

Looking forward to getting to know you all :-)
