I made it thru dinner. 800 cals but I didn't have a chance to eat much of a lunch and I brought half home so I still have plenty cals left to eat some healthy snacks this evening. I found out that my daughter is cooking here for Easter. This is good for me as I have healthy snacks I can eat before dinner so my chances are better that I won't binge. Talk to you all again on Sunday.
This weekend is going to be exceptionally difficult. Not only am I going out to sizzler for dinner with Mom, but of course it's Easter this weekend. I handle Friday dinners pretty well by cutting my dinner in half and putting it in a box before I even start eating. Easter dinner is going to be hard. I don't have a dinner to put in a to go box. Also I don't usually gain any weight by splurging once a week, but eating twice will usually throw me off track.
My goal is 1. No late night snacking and 2. Get up and exercise before church. My husband is gone for the weekend at work so I am home with the kids alone. It is still freezing here so I can't kick them outside to play. If I can make it without snacking after they are in bed and I can get up early to exercise on Sunday, I will feel like a million bucks!

Last weekend was difficult and I did horribly. I had a four day conference---Sat thru Tues---I started off trying to be good, then.... It was at this lovely resort...we had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for our Sunday afternoon snack for goodness sakes. I didn't get back on the wagon until today. I feel better just being in control. I don't want a weekend or a conference to sabotage all my hard work.
GOAL: To be at my goal weight by the end of September. Mini goal: -5 by the end of May Reward: A new Zumba shirt!!!!

I've got a very busy weekend planned, and also have a friend coming to dinner Saturday, as well as a potluck lunch at a meeting on Sunday.
Part of the busy is making sure I exercise both days.
I will plan lighter meals for breakfast and lunch and plan a healthy menu for Saturday's dinner (and try out some SP recipes perhaps!).
I will bring something healthy to the potluck, but these are often difficult for me. I try to cut back on my other meals to allow some leeway. I try to eat small portions of the things that really appeal to me the most and skip the ones that don't appeal. But sometimes treats (especially salty stuff) proves just too tempting, or since it is a potluck the menu may be out of balance...
