Completely snowed under... Will work out and try my best to stay out of the pantry. Maybe a walk in the snow covered forest will keep me busy and away from food thoughts.

I have tickets to see an elvis impersonator tomorrow night. Open bar and buffet. I am doing Weight Watcher so I will use some of my weekly bonus points. I plan on getting a big salad at the buffet. And making healthy choices and skipping dessert! I will have a few light beers but plan on loading up on water in between. Anyone have any other tips?

I started with a 5 miler. I plan to add some dance fitness later today, hit the gym tomorrow morning, then maybe more dancing tomorrow evening. Sunday I'll spend about an hour and a half at the gym.

@philo - good for you! i will also go to my spinning class tomorrow, no matter that is a holiday :) also i went hiking yesterday, tx God for that :) today i have to watch what i eat :) and tomorrow I will keep myself busy :)

Its not Friday jet, but...I am thinking about some spinning/cycling class even on this weekend or hiking. Whatever but I will do it as it is a long weekend for me (4days) so I will have to fill it up with activities as much as I can. I will visit my parents if I dont get any better idea and wash my windows :-) Whatever, just to be more active and watching TV less.

Anyone think that would be good strategy for him also?

I need to have more potassium in my diet. I found out that clams and potatoes have lots. So I made a home made clam chowder today. I ate the whole thing in 2 servings. I had 2 small bowls for lunch then another small bowl for dinner. It was about 550 calories for the whole thing. I fill full but I don't think its good to eat the whole chowder in the same day. Any how it tastes so good. I haven't had it for a long time. Any one know low calories potassium foods.
I have to go for a blood test in 3 months. Thanks. for the week end I'm going to snack on grapes, pineapple, celery with tunafish and mango salad. I try to eat these foods every day.
And I am going to work out tomorrow. Then on Sunday I'm going to a 5 km run or walk for the first time with Curves for Cancer. I can't wait till Sunday, my first run or walk. yeh for me. emoticon

It's Friday!! emoticon I am off work in 45 minutes. I am about to have a snack and I still need to plan a low cal dinner. How am I going to survive the weekend? I have to be within arms reach of SP. Seriously, I get my motivation and feel that I need to be accountable if I'm on here as much as I can be. It will get easier but for now, that's my plan!

Well, I'm an emotional eater, and when I have access to snacks, I get snacks. I really tried to be good this weekend. Went a little over on my calories anyway, and really didn't exercise enough. Part of it is ordering dinner on the weekends, and not always knowing what we're getting until the last minute, so I have to try to fit it in. I can point to several things that are different that I need to change. Here's hoping I can kick my butt into actiion.

Well I kept my calorie goal, made a 45 min walking with my dog, took my kid shopping so we kept walking, .... And drinker a lot a lot of water....

I made a decision a while ago to become a whole foods plant based vegan and I've lost the cravings I used to have so it's become much easier to avoid temptation. I have a hard time keeping the calories as low as Sparkpeople suggests...Especially since I went on a 5-mile run today. But I figure as long as there's a calorie deficit I will lose weight. I actually dropped a few pounds this week without even trying too hard.

I have a new strategy to make sure I exercise on a Friday and Sunday then Saturday I can be more flexible. Just worked out and burned 384 cals dancing away on the wii so if I do 400 on Sunday thats 784 just over he weekend!.
Part of my problem has been doing no exercise over weekend and literally eating what I want, so for me it will be making sure I exerciseemoticon

This will be my third weekend of not eating out and making dinner with family instead at home. I have started to see a great change since I started adjusting my weekends. The only thing I have to work on is those Saturday night bar time with friends and stick to what calories are left for the day. Addind Saturday morning tennis to the mix as well to kick it off right :)

I plan on tracking all my food on the weekend so that I can see the calorie count and keep on track.

No set plans for me this year! Struggling pretty bad right now, so I will get thru this celebration with great vigilance. My goal for 2012 is to get out and walk everyday. Rain included, that is what an umbrella is for, right? In our house, I can control the foods that we will have that night. emoticon
