The weekends have become pretty easy for me, as long as I track my food each day. I plan ahead, log all the necessary nutrients and always leave 200 - 400 hundred calories extra, when I know there is an "event". Then I know I can indulge in a treat or two. I don't know what would happen if I didn't have access to this computer!

Still dropping a few pounds here and there. My husband made me get rid of my scale, so I don't know my weight anymore. But the black pants I bought for work a few weeks ago are too loose on me now. I had to move the buttons in on them so they quit slipping down too low. I'm looking forward to my weigh in on the 21st of March to see if I'm at my hoped for goal weight of 170.

I've lost 25lbs so far this year, and a total of 107lbs over 8 years. I'm looking forward to losing another 25 this coming year. I've gone from a 24/26 to a 14/16.

I cannot hardly believe it..I have had a cold since last Thursday, determined to stay on course I ate healthy, even though I really, really wanted comfort food (lots of cream sauce pasta -carbs) & stayed on track nutrtionally, but only walked a mile on Saturday...I lost 3 pounds over the weekend...I still feel awful & it would hurt my throat if I yelled so I am typing a big emoticon to me!!! Have a great day everyone!!!

Walked 4.5 miles and ran .5 miles. I usually run over 1 mile, but I have a pulled gastrocnemius muscle. Had to tone down the run a little. I've lost 2lbs so far this week, and I think it will be 3 by Monday morning after my weekend's 10 miles.

This morning (Saturday) I did Turbo Jam Cardio Party for a 40 minute workout. Now I just finished a new and healthy lunch of a Salmon BLT and red Potato Salad. It was fun to make new recipes. Won't be trying them again....but the experience was fun. Off to a good start which is way more than I can say about any other weekend! Oh, and I've tracked my calories and water usage.

Just got through with the treadmill for 25 min, 15 min. breastroke swim, and 3 different gym equipment exercises. Off to my friends house, better watch the calorie intake. emoticon

Whoop whoop, stayed within my calorie range today! (Just barely, but still...)
AND I got a ton of exercise in -- a 5 mile walk in the morning and then an hour at the gym. I'm so used to messing up on the weekends, this is a good change for me!

I am so ecstatic because I just weighed myself today morning and i've lost 4 lbs in two weeks. I figured since it's a saturday, I should take this as motivation and stay on track! And so I shall continue with the workouts and weighing my foods throughout the weekend. Loving it!

Great Job!

We also have our weigh-ins on Monday and that helps me tons with my weekends. I just loose all structure over the weekends - but I feel I'm doing better.

Since April 1st I'm down 13 pounds. I'm a person who weighs more than I look so people are always astounded when they hear them I'm watching calories and logging my exersize.

Thanks for the bragging thread - it's nice to be able to brag without feeling bad about it.

Monday morning I did my weigh-in after the weekend and I was down to 181 lbs! I started at 192, so I have officially lost more than 10 lbs since starting SparkPeople. Best of all, I have lost nearly 4% of body fat and I am stronger and feel so much better I can't believe it took me this long to start doing something about my weight and health. Life is good right now.

I am very proud of myself, and want to brag about it everywhere I can, so I thought maybe we can have a bragging rights thread here?

There are tons of teams and boards to post when you're not "feeling it", need motivation help, or need support, but since one of the best ways to get back on track is to find that feeling of "this works! this is great" I thought I would make a thread for that as well.

What is going well for you? What have you done right, that made you feel really good about yourself?
