Well, the weekend is over and I totally bombed it... at least I think I did. I didn't track at all on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
So, I'm trying to get back on track today. But I'm completely exhausted. It's funny how you have a nice long weekend but are always more tired after that than you would be after a solid week at work! LOL!
Keep it simple - complications make things complicated!
Happy 4th All! Well, I have done well in the exercise category as I have put on miles of walking everywhere these last 3 days. Food choices haven't been stellar, but not the worst. I had a brat for lunch today and ice cream and that's the worst I have done I suppose... ate pretty well Friday and Saturday. Just tomorrow I have to try to do well because my husband is on vacation and we usually do more eating out and less cooking when that happens. Maybe I will suggest we cook a meal together. We'll see. Hope you all had a great weekend, off to work I go!
I really haven't done much this weekend--I don't like fireworks and this holiday is all about them, so I stay inside. I will probably go to the movies today to see Grown Ups and overeat popcorn. (Today at all AMC movie theaters is $1.00 popcorn with the coupon on their site.) I probably will keep it light for the rest of the day and clean clean clean. Also get some organizing in.
That's it. I've babbled enough.
My weekend won't be much different from the rest of the year. My husband and youngest son are going to see the grandparents on Sunday, so it's home for me.
I'm going to use the time to get in more exercise!
Tomorrow may be a challenge. It's payday, so we're going shopping for odds and ends. I'm going to spend the morning taking inventory, so when we go grocery shopping, we will have an idea of what to get. I'm just a little worried about eating out while we're shopping. I just have to plan ahead, and know what I want before I get to the food. That way, my calories will already be accounted for.

Goals for the month:
Fitness: 30 minutes of aerobics daily
30 minutes of strength training every other day.
Nutrition: Less than 1500 calories and 50 grams of fat per day.
Water: AT LEAST 64 ounces per day.
Well, it's a holiday weekend here in the USA. I think we have some Canadians around, So they will have started with Canada Day today, I guess. So who's got good plans?
I am heading off either Saturday or Sunday to my sister's week-long horse show. So lots of physical stuff, but also lots of unhealthy food options. We usually keep breakfast in the room, so I start the day well. But they have this really good ice cream vendor every year--HELP! I try to just make good choices, and help whoever I can, so I stay active. I'll be dealing with horse, cleaning stalls, and a lot of wandering the show grounds.
And Friday and Saturday, I have to readjust for the variety of things I ate over the last three days on vacation!
To get ready for the road trip, I have to do laundry, clean the house and PACK!
And pack for the week.
