Well, the surprise on Saturday was a massage. So very nice... I have been doing a good job with food this weekend, even at the group dinner with a bunch of neighbors (fruit for dessert). And although I didn't get my bike ride in, I got some exercise each day.
Tomorrow is my birthday, so that is my "cheat day", already planned, LOL! I want my birthday cake!
Hi KRYRED and Didi! Glad to see you here. I don't quite know what me weekend has in store. I've had a rough few weeks, and re-committed to tracking this week. I've also forced myself out of the exercise rut in the past couple of days. So I want to keep that up. But there are so many unknowns.
Today (Saturday) I am going to see my sister's horse show in the morning. It's a local one. Then, I am meeting a friend who made surprise plans for us today, in honor of my birthday on Monday. I know it will include dinner (but don't know where) but I am not sure what the rest of the day includes. I am hoping for a nice hike... Sunday will be somewhat of a lazy day. I want to get a good bike ride in the morning, followed by some time relaxing by the pool, before another birthday dinner.
If I can manage good food choices, I'll be ok. I think I can keep up with the exercise. Monday is a different story. I believe there will be a cake at work (which is definitely my weak spot), as well as another one at dinner with my family.
