Yes, I am still catching up from those awfully long weeks at work...

But I wanted to reply to you, Didi. I record each stage of the Tour de France and watch it that day. Then I delete the stage except the ones that were really good. Like the major climbing stages.

Hi Everyone!!
I'm sorry I've been MIA lately. Our weekends have been getting more and more hectic!

Things have been good. My knee is getting better. Just when I start feeling confident though, I do something stupid to tweek it again. SO, I think I told you guys that I started doing Hot Vinyasa Flow yoga. It's been great and I've found something I can latch on to since running has not been consistent. I have seen some great results in just the last 30 days or so. I feel stronger and firmer. I wore a heart rate monitor for the last two classes (90 mins), and I've burned over 700 calories each time!!! I will be still doing the TM a few miles each week so I don't fall too far out of the loop...

I've been terrible at tracking on the weekends lately. My goal for next weekend is to TRACK!, regardeless of what I eat.

It's so great to see you all doing so well! I've got to find a water running class in my area. I've not seen it offered at any gyms locally, but I'll research it!

Take care and talk to you next weekend.
Heidi

Hi!!!! Another day of training and learning:))
It was an awesome day!! I got to my MHR (maximun heart rate according to training formulas) ....it was pretty intense. I even got homework!!!!!

The rain finally stopped this afternoon, but I think I'll be using the hotel gym instead of running outdoors. I'm really not familiar with the area and just don't feel comfortable enough to do so.

Breakfast was good and so was lunch, but dinner was Boston Pizza w/w fetticine and some kinda tomato sauce and chicken.....their portion sizes are outrageous!!!! I can understand why people over eat. They make it so easy.....

In all it was a great day!!!! Final day tomorrow.

I then have to study to write the exam and get a DVD of a class to get my cert.

DRC,I hope the rain stops for you to get out tomorrow.
So you're going to have the ENTIRE tour de France recorded??? Good for you!!!!

I'm so not missing cleaning!!!!! I love having someone else make my bed....LOL!!!! All mommy's need this once in awhile:))

Okay, got to go answer more mail, then to the gym!!!

Rainy day in Baltimore, too, so...plans change! Instead of riding the horses today, we will try again tomorrow. Somehow, trail rides and thunderstorms don't go well, LOL.

Rain also prevented a morning walk or bike ride, and yet somehow I haven't gotten moving today. I changed my plans to watch all the things I have recorded on my DVR so I have plenty of room on my DVR for the Tour de France next month!

Yet somehow, I haven't managed to do any of my cleaning...

I never knew you taught water classes. That is so cool! And how awesome that you can consider it a part of work. I wish I lived closer to you--I'd go to your classes as well.

Leanne, enjoy the recital and the non-working time with your sister!

Hi!!!! Well it's a rainy day in Ontario. I go to the pool in about 30 mins or so.

I teach aqua classes to both the fit and physically challenged for a living but as you know I'm also an avid recreational runner.

Recently I was asked to do some water running with my run club and I did it....they loved it. So I decided to get the certification and add it to my other certs.

My boss will be putting it in the Facilities catalogue for the Fall. So now I'll be teaching small groups of 2 to 4. as I'm booked.

Really looking forward to doing a new program. It keeps things interesting and I GET PAID FOR IT!!!! No more freebies!!!Certification makes all the difference in this business.

DRC have fun with your sister today.

Leanne, did visit at the reunion??? Have fun at the recital:)) My daughters piano recital is this afternoon and I'll miss it....I'm even missing Father's Day!!!

Foods been really good this weekend so far. No over eating and my choices were really good.
Hope to keep it that way today as well.

Chat later,
Didi

Didi--I'm sorry you're so bored! At least you're there for a purpose...the water certification sounds good!
DRC--I hope you have a great time with your sister. I am going to see my sister tomorrow for the recital dinner. (I see her everyday anyway at work, but I appreciate the recreational time.)

What I have left:

-research more state trips
-finish my April book
-go to CJ's recital dinner (Longhorns Steakhouse)
-dye hair
-make plans to meet up with a friend during the week

Okay...I'm off to research trips. I'll check back in with that.

Didi, I just talked to my athletic trainer friend about going to his daily water running class. I love it--it's a great workout, and in the middle of the hot and humid summer, I can stay cool while getting a kick-a$$ workout. How is the certification class going? What does it involve? And how did you get into it? And are you still bored?

Leane, sounds like you have a great list going. I am sorry the reunion gathering didn't work out as planned. I would have told you to stop in anyway, even though it's a bigger gathering, say hi to your friends, and then hit the road before the drinking gets out of hand.

So tell us about the state trip research! Can't wait to hear the next interesting thing to do...

The weather here was nice today too. I haven't slept well all week, until last night. So today I was feeling pretty good. I got home from work about an hour early, chilled out a bit and then went and swam laps, for the first time since last season.

Tomorrow, I plan to meet my sister to ride horses. Maybe get a walk or a bike ride in first, depending on when I wake up. I'm not setting my alarm, because I know I still need sleep, so I might not have time before meeting her.

And Sunday we are having Father's Day gathering around 3 pm. I have to go to my sister's early to set up. And I have to ehad into work my 5 pm. For another super long, tiring week!

Sometime in the middle of that, I have to fold laundry and vacuum! The rest of the place is a mess too, but at least I dusted and put some stuff away earlier in the week. But laundry and vacuum are in the mandatory category...

See you guys soon!

Hi!!!! Well I'm struggling to be good with my eating this weekend:((

I'm in Ontario on course. I'm getting my water running certification...yeahhhhh!!!!!!

The problem being I'm bored now and I'm tired of the huge mall across the street....I keep getting lost in it.
PLUS it's Friday and the teenagers are out in FULL blast!!!! I wouldn't want to be working mall security right about now....

So food so far has been alright....not bad at all, hoping it won't change.

Leanne, right about now a drink would be nice, but the mini bar is WAY too expensive!!!LOL!!!

I'll check back in later,
Didi

Hey everyone!

Friday's here again (yay!) and it's finally a sunny moment in NJ. It was kinda crappy this morning, cloudy and humid, but now it's sunny with a nice breeze. A walk is definitely in order!
To Do List--
-research more state trips
-finish my April book
-go to CJ's recital dinner (Longhorns Steakhouse)
-dye hair
-make plans to meet up with a friend during the week
-email/text reminders for my mom's party next weekend
-do PayPal confirmation
-set DVR for some shows I want to watch next week

I was supposed to go to a Facebook/class reunion tonight, but it went from a small gathering to a huge party and I'm not really interested in that. Or drinking like a fish...I'll save that for next weekend. :o)

What is everyone else up to? I'll check back in later!
