Hi !!! Happy Mothers Day!!!

Reggie, sorry you're leaving before the big race.
Bring your run gear and run around Pt. Pleasant Park...it's still a bit bear since the hurricane.

Hope you have fun when you get here. It's going to be a very busy week in Halifax with all the runners coming in and all the spectators from hockey (IIHF).

Didn't run out doors today,just too windy/rainy/snowy!!!
I did however get in 4 miles on the treadmill.
Can't say how well I'll do come race day as training this time around was interuppted by a heavy work schedule and vacation.
Oh well, I know it'll be fun....

Darn, i wish I had known, Didi. We are driving back Sat. night. I am going over Thursday. Then I find out Leonard cohen is playing in halifax! I would love to see him perform live! But everything is sold out. So, we are probably going to shop and take in a movie on Thursday night. Which is fine. We are doing something more special Friday with my buddy. As long as we are doing the mother-daughter thing. I want to get to Pt. Pleasant Park and see old Black Rock beach.

I was a punk and didnt try the yoga class at the gym. I hate myself for being that way. Well, at least I did in a workout.

I am just going to walk this morning. I got burnt out on my run yesterday. Felt weak and walked the last 10 minutes. I am going to do some scrubbing this morning and hit the office to do some mindless filing (which has to get done) this afternoon for 3 hours. The weather sucks anyway -- so I might as well get it done. Planning on a trip to Halifax next weekend to see a buddy from Montreal in for the convocation exercises of her daughter. A change is as good as a rest. We are thinking of crossing on the Wood Island ferry just to have the hour on the water! My daughter and I. Have a great day, folks. Ta, Reggie

Hi !!!! That sounds like a really good wekend you've got planned Reggie. Nothing stressful...lots of R&R!!!

I've got the usual errands,kids music lessons etc...

I do have Yoga on Saturday afternoon with my run buddies.
Also a not so "Long run" on Sunday, as the Bluenose is next Sunday (18th May)so it's taper time!!!
Wish me luck as Allergies has my fate in it's grip!!!
I'm living with Re-Actine in my system daily. Sometimes it feels like my head will blow up and theirs just not enough air.

Oh it's also Mothers Day on Sunday, so I'm sure there'll be some pretty bad choices in my diet atleast for one meal:)

Hello Weekend Warriors!
I am not doing anything too earth-shattering this weekend. I am working late at the office Friday evening. Getting my run in early morning. Saturday, I am planning on doing yardwork and household chores after my morning run. I may do some cooking for through the week. Sunday, my BF is coming up to help with some yardwork and we will have a quiet evening together. I put a fire on in the fireplace a lot lately, when the sun goes down. I love the fireplace. I am still sticking to my plan of no eating after supper, and 4000 calories burnt per week, with under 1800 calores daily. So far, so good. I have gone 40 days binge-free! Yeh! Have a great weekend all. I will check in. Ta, Reggie
