I live very close to my work (about 8 minutes), and I've been walking to and from work. I've also been walking back and forth for lunch. This may sound sad, but walking that distance is not easy for me, but I am on a 4-day streak walking to work. I have mixed emotions about this. On one hand, I feel good that I have been walking to work, but on the other hand, I feel like I should be doing more.

Am I doing enough? Do I need to be walking for 10 consecutive minutes, or is it all right to total all the minutes I walk in a day?

Thanks! I needed to hear that ten minutes is better than none. It was soooo cold yesterday that we decided not to take our dog for our daily walk, so I walked up and down the stairs with her for ten minutes. I was completely worn out after just ten minutes, and couldn't do any more. I just needed to hear that ten minutes was better than nothing. Thanks so much for posting, everyone.

Slow and steady is the best way to go. Don't overwhelm yourself. Give your knee a break, try some stretching exercises that won't have an impact on your knee.

Good Morning,

I could only get through 10 minutes of my Leslie Sansone walking tape yesterday. My knee decided to be pesky. I forgot to put my knee support on. I'm sure that it will go better next time. In the meantime, I am taking one step at a time. I am in the fourth day of following the nutrition tracker. I feel great!!! In the past, I have tried to do too much at once. I am getting better at being happy with what I can do. It is so much better than doing nothing!!
