Wow, Minnie - emoticon You ought to get extra calorie burn for that.They give me a higher extra burn rate because I'm so heavy without carrying anything else, lol.

Day 624 - Yes, I fully intend to do 2 years, and then, who knows? Seems like I did that once before, then when it came time to start over, I stumbled and started over at least 6 times...
Spen 30 min treading water, and another 15 "generally" swimming. Minor rebellion at the health club lead to promise to keep my out door deep water pool open "as long as possible", yay!!!. I did some painting today too, and will continue that tomorrow. But, we got a bit ahead of the game - walking through a big box store for groceries as our Sat. night 'outing'. So, I should be able to swim tomorrow, as well as point.

Day 621 - missed my morning walk because I had a Doc appt, but had a very brisk afternoon walk that was at least 15 min. I am back to the pool this eve - with a new suit. 3 of my swim suits have fallen apart on me in about the last 3 weeks. The one I've been wearing since June is threadbare. So, not wanting to bare my butt, I went onlnie and got a really, really, good deal - JC Penney closeout at $17.99 with no shipping because I could pick it up at a store.

Well, this break stuff is contagious! I was just THINKING about getting out for my second walk of the day, and everyone else got out the door ahead of me. So, I hope to go in 20 min or so. I DID walk for approx. 16 min this a.m., so I can claim the Day 620.

I swam indoors last night, and probably will tonight as well. I hate for summer to end....

I do a 10 minute walk as fast as my cane will take me before breakfast. It is a quiet time in our neighbourhood. I only wish the city would repair the asphalt so I don't break a leg negotiating the potholes.

Well, I know how committed you are, Minnie. The Challenge is really at least 10 min exercise "most days" if I recall correctly from 'way back at the beginning. I think you have gotten in some exercise "most days" for - what - 5 years?? I can claim Day 618 early, because I swam in the sunshine today (and yesterday) instead of waiting till evening. 50 min treading water - had company to visit with again. Much more fun than walking all over the grocery stores or painting the back bedroom walls, though I have done those things, too.

Day 617 - swam for an hour, did some housecleaning and quite a bit of walking - we accidently found a wonderful rooftop perch and caught a massive fireworks display. It was RiverFest in the park next to the casino where we were, and we usually park on the roof. Really enjoyed the display.

I am fershur counting today as Day 610 of this streak, even though I didn't make it to the pool. I am stiff and sore all over and grateful that I have a whirlpool bathtub at home. Worked at cleaning my own kitchen this morning, then in the afternoon helped my daughter clean out the 5 foot by 3 foot rabbit cage at her house. AND, in order to do the work, we parked half a mile away from and then raced through a Super Walmart, a Home Depot, a Petco and a hardware store picking things up. Some time after they lost their chic, I picked up a pair of those shoes that are supposed to give you great legs by making you feel like you are walking through sand. I wonder how much the shoes had to do with it. OH, and the apartment is up a very steep flight of stairs, so I did that a few times, too. I am beat.

Day 605 - claimable. My morning walk was 13 min. I swam for 40 min last night, and didn't need to count housecleaning or walking around the big box stores as exercise.

Day 604 - just basically reporting in, for now. I have been moving furniture again, and am very sore after painting yesterday - my swim was only 30 min. but I enjoyed it a lot. Today, though, I am heading out in the evening. It seems odd to declare the afternoon too hot for a good swim - but the pool is heated and it is uncomfortably warm in 100 degree weather.

Day 603, in case I don't get it registered before midnight again... I am just taking a break from moving books out of a bookshelf so that I can move that heavy piece of furniture out of the way to finnally finish painting walls in the back bedroom - now a laundry room. I hope to swim later, but I really want to finish this job now.
